I decided to try it and it was a great decision i made to cover large areas with acrylic paint. The splatter brush doesn't shed but the ferrule is loose and wobbly on 2 I've received so far. Disappointed in the quality considering I've trusted the Liquitex brand over 50 years. **Q: Is this a soft brush, or a harder bristle designed to create bristle brush strokes?** A: It is a stiffer bristle brush, but not as stiff as hog hair. It is designed for applying large areas of color or varnish.
