I ordered the biggest size which is big enough. They never slide and except for wiping off the exteriors, I just pop the metal bowls in the DW. I will get some extra bowls as most of my current metal bowls are a bit big. Easy to carry and each dog recognizes his or her own bowl. They wash very easily and come out sparkling with no spots. I first ordered the small size for my maltese, but it turned out too small. However, the medium size is a perfect fit for her! Another great feature is that the bowls stay in place while she is eating and drinking.
