I do a lot of hiking and I thought it might be a little bit too big but it is actually perfect. I’m 5’3 and it sits on me well, the straps are also adjustable so you really shouldn’t have a problem with it. For everything that’s inside of it, it is surprisingly light. The straps are also super soft and padded, exactly what you want if you are going to be hiking or traveling anywhere on foot. It has everything you could possibly need for 4 people to eat and drink, the cup holders are super fun and I can’t wait to use them! Compared to what else is out there, this is definitely the best price wise and quality wise.The blanket inside is really comfortable and soft, and the drink area and large compartment are also insulated to keep your food and beverages fresh. I was not expecting my water to stay cold after two hours in the sun, but sure enough, it was! There's nothing like having cold water after hiking for hours. After a few more trips I will update my review with how well it’s held up, but I really don’t think it will be a problem. The backpack seems very well made and I’m very excited to take it out for another spin!I HIGHLY recommend this bag to anyone considering buying one. Even if you aren’t a big hiker, this backpack would also be great for family picnics in the park or day trips to the beach.If I could give it 10 stars I would! He says it is more macho looking than our last one. We used it take snacks and wine to the park. The wine holder on the side of the bag was convenient and the wine glass stands worked well. The blanket was big enough for all of us. Everything we used was good quality. I think we'll get a lot of use out of it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spacious food compartment with easy access, lightweight utensils *by D***M on July 9, 2019* I actually bought three different picnic backpacks because I couldn't tell a few things from the images. This was in the top two. Actually the other top one had the same core backpack; must have had the same manufacturer.I wanted a lot of room for food. What can I say, I always over pack on food. This has a lot of room. I also wanted easy access to the food compartment... not one skinny zippered opening. This one has a flap with zippers on both sides for easy access.The other top one had "nicer" utensils but I liked these utensils better because: lighter weight and all the knives are serrated.The color of this pack and blanket are kind of blah.The wine glass holders are interesting. They seem to be too wide to actually hold most wine glasses though I didn't want to take out of the packaging.
