This uses three G9 base bulbs, 3w, max of 40 watts. The bulbs I got are 25 watts and are very bright.Since we wanted the pendants higher up it was a little tricky getting it screwed on since we had to tuck alot of cord under the plate but we got it. We chose to hang the pendants in a staircase pattern however I might change it one day to staggered.
