    Defect in wood - Do not Buy from South Cone.

While we love the color, shape and size of the table, we had to return one because it cracked right sown the middle just after a few weeks. Amazon replaced it and we received another one 4 weeks later. Biw after about 5 months the second table gas cracked as seen in pucture. Tgere must be a defect in the wood, but they will not replace it ir give me a full refund. Insread they offered me $240 to have it repaired. I called a furniture repair company and they said it would be a lot more to repair it properly. He said they are not drying it properly when manufacturing this table. That is why they crack. Do not buy this table!! We waited 10 weeks for the first one and now a year after ordering it, i will have to buy something else.DO NOT BUY FROM SOUTH CONE!!!The table has warped so much it actually has pulled the base from the tabletop. See pictures!!

The table arrived warped with two bolts stripped out of their holes.  We had to return the table.  By the time all of the logistics got in place (2 weeks after requesting the return) the other side of the table warped as well.  It looked like a taco table once it left our home.

    Very NIce Table - But a color sample is wise

I was in a hurry to get my table before Thanksgiving, and the company was very helpful.  They pulled it off, shipping all the way from Mexico.  In retrospect, I should have ordered a color sample first, because the "Smoke" color really has no brown in it, as it appears on my computer screen.  It's very gray.  But, it's a very nicely made, quality table.  So, now I'm going to order a samples of other colors, and I'll think about selling this one!
