Review: Nice little sander. - I bought this item to rough sand my stairs for refinishing. My intention was to utilize the tip of the unit to get into the corners. I have a DeWalt Orbital sander with a round plate which does great on the main surfaces, but can not get into the corners at all. The sander seems well built and I think it will serve its purpose. For the price, I almost consider it disposable. It came with 10 sanding sheets, but I expect to go through them very quickly. It feels good in the palm of my hand and you don't have to use a lot of pressure to get it to work. I like the ability to rotate the base plate to get different angles. I don't expect to use it for heavy duty sanding, but it seems to serve the purpose. As usual, the dust bag is completely worthless. I'd estimate it catches about 10% of the dust created on use, and fills up extremely fast.
