This actually works exactly as advertised!
WOW! The no batteries needed, wireless switch that works with Hue, actually works!!! The Hue bridge found it right away (I actually have a harder time connecting my Hue light strips than this switch) and it synced it right away. I went into the Hue app and this switch has full functionality that a Hue device would have. I highly recommend this switch over the Hue switch if you want to control 2 hue devices independently of each other

Must have for a Philips Hue home
These switches are absolutely incredible… they are extremely easy to set up in the Hue app and they work flawlessly. They perfectly fit in a standard decora wall plate and look like a normal switch. The fact that they work without wifi is a huge plus and since they don’t need batteries I’m not anticipating having to replace any of them.10/10 would recommend for anyone with a Philips Hue setup in their house

So far, incredible!
I've had this switch installed for a couple weeks as of writing this review, and so far my experience has been delightful.I used it in my toddler's bedroom to replace switched outlets with overhead lights in a ceiling fan that previously had constant power. Fan control remained with the fan remote, but I installed HUE bulbs in the fan so that this switch could control them. Only downside is the fan remote can cut power to the HUE bulbs and therefore the connection with this switch. For my use case, I knew this was the case.I live in a 2400sqft house with the HUE Bridge on the first floor, left side of the house. The room this switch is in is on the second floor, right side of the house. No connection issues noticed. You have to clack the switch quickly to get it to function or else a slight delay might register as a "long" press. I don't have a long press programmed to do anything if my light is already off, so currently a long press will do nothing. That is the only time I've seen it not work.I like this switch much better than the standard buttons offered by HUE. the mechanical style makes it much more manageable to find and activate the correct button.

Expensive, but does a job not otherwise easily done
This product does a specific job. You need to turn smart devices on and off; those devices are compatible with Philips Hue directly or indirectly; and there isn't a cheaper device-specific remote or you want to replace a standard Decora switch.Unlike Philips' standard Hue remote devices, this device WILL fit in a standard outlet box and use a standard Decora cover plate. You do not HAVE to use an outlet box; it comes with a somewhat low-profile surface mount box and cover plate. You can use this device to turn Hue devices on and off. You can also use it to turn HomeKit devices on and off, because your Hue hub will recognize it as a switch and make that switch available to HomeKit. I've used it to turn an iHome smart plug on and off using HomeKit.The switch can be configured as a single switch or split in two, to control two different devices. It does work, but it doesn't always work on the first press. Occasionally, you need to press twice, presumably to generate enough power to send the radio signal. You cannot press both switches at once, or even in rapid succession; you have to wait a moment between presses for best results. The switch is loud, making a distinct snapping click when pressed. That's part of the energy-generation mechanism. That might make it unsuitable for use in bedrooms, if you expect to use it while people are sleeping. You may need to use care installing it, to avoid placing it over a hollow section of wallboard that might act as a sounding board, increasing the noise from the click.Even with those limitations, this product fills a niche that no one else is addressing. When you need it, it's the only option. (And it's priced accordingly.) In many cases, there are cheaper Hue-compatible remotes that will do the job, if you can stand the design (and occasional battery replacement). But there's definitely a place for this switch.

Real switch for smart lights, easy to install.
Voice control is nice... but sometimes you just want to push a damned button. These do it. They do it without power which is amazing. I've replaced two switches with them and love them. Each portion of each rocker switch is configurable, so you can use a single switch to control at least two lights. Highly recommend.

Wanted to love this
I bought the two pack, one for my backyard office shed and one for my baby's nursery. I loved the no battery operation and ability to set different scenes. I'm a Hue Stan and enjoy setting different vibes with my lights which is especially useful in the nursery for late night visits I can go straight to the nightlight setting. Unfortunately, these switches are inconsistent, sometimes I need to click the switch two or three times to get it to control the lights. As others have stated, it creates a pretty loud click sound when you use it, I don't mind the clickiness but my wife is no fan since clicking two or three times to turn on the nightlight defeats the purpose of stealth. I'm going to keep them, but I wouldn't buy again due to the inconsistent operation.
