Smells good? Yes. Helps wood? Eh...yesish if used alone.
**Disclaimer! This product states on the bottle that it is to be used AFTER a restoration. This product is NOT for fixing any deep stains or marks. Keep that in mind when ordering and reading further.**I originally saw this product on Prime Day as an “Amazon’s Choice” for wood polisher. I checked it out and found the reviews very impressive but was still not sold on it. After a week and some change, I decided that less than $9 wasn’t a huge risk to see if this polished really would help my 50+ year old wood table. For starters, my table is old. On top of it being old, it’s been through 2 kids, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. That means water stains, nicks, dings, cuts, and the oddly scratched in picture. I have been toying with the idea of just doing an overall sand down and refinish on the surface but it’s one of those suuuuper long processes that I do not look forward to accomplishing. In the past I have tried coconut oil and it does alright. It’s shiny but it’s always ALWAYS slick for awhile. You can’t plan to be around the table for awhile before it soaks in. Now it’s probably my own fault, but I felt lead that this product would give fantastic shine and clear up water stains and marks. After all, the reviews and pictures are very compelling. Now the product itself is interesting. It’s very thick and is almost like honey that’s been thickened up a bit to make it more of a jelly like substance. It also smells like an orange grove. The instructions for use are very easy. You load up a soft cloth, wax on, wax off 20 minutes later. I grabbed my biggest microfiber towel and laid a nice ol glob on it and spread it around in a familiar circular motion. I waited probably longer than 20 minutes but what’s the worst that could happen? Well, nothing really. It made it nice and shiny. So shiny in fact that every flaw is gloriously highlighted beautifully for everyone to see. The water stains are shiny. The cuts are shiny. The dings are shiny. The etched in pictures and rudely drawn “NO!” from an act of stubbornness over homework was...shiny. That’s it. It smelled heavenly, too. The results were not actually based in too much truth from what I read on the reviews and I’m pretty disappointed but again, my own fault for not reading further.I will plan to try again after a day or 2 to see if the wood deeper in the table just needs some time to soak up the conditioners but I can say for sure that I don’t have my hopes up this time around. Alas, I’ll have to refinish it but I will plan on using this after and hopefully will be able to give a thorough review based on the actual use. So 5/5 stars for a great conditioners but it does not magically before your eyes heal wood.

LOVE THIS MAGIC!
Oh my word alive I LOVE THIS STUFF!I have absolutely HATED my old oak cabinets for years. It has been a source of numerous heated discussions with my husband. I wanted new, he liked the grain. I wanted new doors, he liked the solid wood, I wanted to paint, he liked the grain....and so it went for years. Out of complete desperation I went online to see how I could improve the look of my old, missing color, water stained, solid wood oak cabinets. First on the hit list was a very deep clean - which I did - if they got ruined then oh well....that is how much I hated them. Second I got myself some gel stain and a bag of rags....all the while my loving hubby was hovering over me as I stained away, crying over the grain and not to cover the grain and holy cow the grain of the wood, what was wrong with me....Did I mention he HATES change? Anyway once that task was compete and dry (I waited about a week) I used this glorious wonderful polish wax miracle in a bottle...My cabinets look AWESOME, not saying the deep clean and the stain did not play a part but the holy grail of it all was once I did my first coat with this...let it sit in for a while than polished off. I did that over the course of about one month, weekly. My cabinets look pristine...you can still see the grain ;) the oil/wax makes them less likely to get dirty and are seriously easy to clean as I go...Did I mention the three dogs? Yup there's that too....Anyway My cabinets get a quick wipe down with a damp rag and a quick go over with this magic and then I am done. It has made my kitchen so much better and I am happy and my husband is happy...even the dogs are happy...Note about that, one seems to think the wax is a lickable treat when first applied....I had to kick her out of the kitchen until it was settled and polished. Not sure if it can be harmful to her but did not want to take the chance. I have just started using this in place of furniture polish for my older pieces and I am loving the effect it has on them as well. I have a smaller kitchen and all the waxing I did took less than 1/3 of the bottle so I do believe it is a good cost and effective product in every way!

it made a difference
I have really old cabinets and the one below my sink was looking bad so i bought this to try it out. It was very easy to apply. It did make my cabinet door look a little better but not perfect. I can still see where the water has damaged the cabinet. That being said i still think this is well worth using. I really need new cabinets but this will hold me over for a while longer. I would absolutely recommend using this whenever you clean your cabinets. I feel strongly that if you do clean your cabinets and then apply this then your cabinets will last longer. I wish i took before pictures but i was skeptical about the outcome. I won't do that again. I also feel that it did do something but i am not sure it would show in the pictures.

Great product
Deliver on time and in good shape. I have used this product for years. It keeps you wood household items in great shape. Assists with minor scratch removal, blemishes, etc. I have even used this on my hardwood floors. Just make sure to remove the access. A little goes a long way. The smell is refreshing

It works!
Great value for the price. Works wonders on just about any woodwork. I was considering replacing my kitchen cabinets, but this stuff restored their color and luster to almost new. Almost completely eliminated water stains and wear marks. I was impressed and I've done woodwork my whole life

Amazing “food” for your wood furniture
Fantastic results !! My 200+ year old farmhouse table was looking real bad, and after 2 applications of this, it practically looks like I refinished it, leaving a beautiful luster. I saw a NYTimes DIY article with a video working with The Howard products. I decided on this Feed N Wax, and am really happy with it.
