Outdated.
I really need to do more research on the age of kits before I buy 20 year old kits. there’s so many big color inaccuracies. The chest vents needing gray and the shoulders needing white are the biggest issues to me. the accessories are also missing colors and are a bit jank. The sword racks fall off when adjusted and the effect parts usually fall out when I pick it up. The shape of the kit is still good if you like this MS, but honestly just get the MG instead. I didn’t realize how lacking this is compared to the standard of HG now at this time

Extremely dated
Extremely dated: seams everywhere, terrible color accuracy, particularly on the weapons,, and a very ugly backpack. I bought this planning to use the parts with the RG Impulse but they were so bad I abandoned it.

"Just let me die"
This kit isn't terrible but it's excruciatingly dated in it's design; its a very average kit from 2005 even for Gundam Seed standards. Strangely I see this kit is still around and after finally checking it out I really dont know why Bandai continues to keep it in production. even more frustrating is that it's seemingly the only "mass release" 1/144 scale version of the Sword Impulse Gundam, other more modern versions are for some reason exclusively Premium Bandai and I find it really hard to justify spending the shiney penny on those newer (better) exanples. I and perhaps some others are stuck with this older version until we suck it up and pay the price for the other ones.
