Great fitment on my MR2 Spyder, but oiling seems unideal.
This filter fit perfectly on my MR2 Spyder, I read it was a challenge for some but I didn't find that at all. It loses a star for what appears to be an incomplete filter oiling job. There are lots of parts on my filter which are black that should be red from oil. I'd personally do a better job, and will next time I need to reoil the filter.

Fits 2000-2005 Toyota Celica
This fits both the GT and GT-S, adds some induction noise but I couldn't tell you if it really adds any horsepower- doubt it, but a nice replacement panel filter. Overall good product

Slight bump in gas mileage, throttle response.
I drive a 2000 Celica GTS and decided to drop this filter in to replace an old paper filter. Honestly, I did not expect a whole lot, but I figured it would be the last filter I ever put in the car and it might get me slightly better gas mileage on the highway.Well so far the gas mileage has panned out. I have gained 1-1.5MPG on the highway. As for power gain, there might be a little, though I don't push the engine hard enough to really notice. I have no interest in redlining a 12 year old, 200,000 mile engine, so that theory will probably never be tested. It's a safe bet though that if there are any power gains to be had, it's very high in the powerband. Expect little to no low end torque improvement with this (as any) air filter. As an odd note, I have noticed that the throttle response of my car is now a little more sensitive. This may or may not be preferably, depending on how you drive. For commuter cars or family vehicles, this sensitivity would probably annoy most. However for those who drive sporty cars in a semi-aggressive manner, the extra throttle sensitivity is probably welcomed. For my tired daily driver, I honestly preferred the throttle response from the paper filter more. That said, so long as you understand the benefits of such a filter, it's a great purchase for the money.

Tight fit but will be good in the long run.
Tight fitment for MR2 Spyder. Had to squeeze long sides inward to get a good fit and seal. Also the 2 metal lock hinges were harder to put back on probably because the filter is also a little thicker. Too early to notice any significant difference but I’ve had good experiences with KnN before.I would recommend setting the filter outside in the sun for a couple of hours on each side to make sure any excess oil drys more. Also a good idea to clean the throttle body, which is a pain due to its location and the MAF sensor since you have to take apart most of the air duct anyways. FYI electrical cleaner can work for the MAF sensor.

Wouldn't Have Anything Else In My Cars
I have used K&N filters for years in all of my vehicles. A new filter from the Toyota dealer costs $25, the K&N filter costs (I think around $38). Use it twice and it has more than paid for its self. Performance increase? One of my cars is a 2010 Prius so I didn't see any mpg gain but does seem to have more pickup and go (just think it is breathing better). My other car is a 2003 Toyota Celica and it did see a gain in mpg and more punch than with the stock filter. Yes it is a little messy having to clean and re-oil the filter (I do mine every oil change 5000-7500 miles just so I will remember). For me it is not very messy just takes a little time to clean and dry out filter, which on a sunny day takes about 15-20 minutes.

Arrived in new, well-oiled condition. Great performance gains
I was skeptical that I would receive a filter that was old stock or that was not stored oiled. I pulled the trigger because amazon has an amazing return policy. To my relief, I didn't need to return it. It came packaged and sealed with plenty of pink oil in the bag. It was almost too much oil! But that isn't a bad thing.Once installed on my 2001 MR2 Spyder, I immediately noticed the advantages. I heard an increase in volume of the air sucking into my engine, the acceleration seems to be smoother, and I've gained a couple miles per gallon (I use ScanGauge to track my mileage). For a vehicle lifetime of not purchasing air filters, the price is definitely justified.

Get one if you’re after a boost in performance.
Definitely adds some low end torque. And considering that you’ll likely never buy another filter, worth the $. Be aware that the fit is super tight, but my understanding is that it is designed that way.

Mmm...
I love it. Super easy instructions to follow. Fit like a charm.

Warranty did not come in the box.
The box did not include the warranty and the ''congratulations'' paper that usually comes with genuine K&N filters. Very suspicious.

Excellent - My MR2 Spyder runs better than ever!
This is the third K&N filter I've bought now, I install them in every car I buy. They are far superior to the paper OEM filters. I always noticed improved performance and mpg. A slightly growlier engine note is an added benefit. One filter to rule them all!

Panel Filter Good
Arrived on time and original K&N item brand new boxed. was a perfect fit in my air box however the oil from the filter has fouled the MAF sensor but some cleaning spray on it seems to be working well so far.dont need to change this since its a filter for life so will be saving money in the long run.
