I have one bird in my flock that refuses to eat any other brand of pellet but roudybush no matter what I try. Due to this I've had to convert the whole flock over to this brand to make things easier. Not happy about the price increase just recently. I think it's the love of the softness of the pellet that he prefers this brand. Is this my first choice in a pellet? No. I do not like the alfalfa content personally but he refuses to give in an inch and would rather starve himself if he doesn't get what he wants. One good point is no sugar. A leading brand with high sugar content was adding too much weight onto my birds. As pellets sit on shelves they begin to lose vitamin content, info from my avian vet so make sure your bird also gets fresh veggies high in nutritional value as I have witnessed a bird show vitamin A deficient who only ate this brand of pellet and would eat nothing else proving my vet's point.

I first tried different brands to introduce pellets to my birds. To my surprise, the pellet I tried first made my birds overweight and changed their droppings (very loose and light in color). I did a little more research about bird pellets and learned this brand uses better ingredients. As soon as I started mixing this pellet with the other one, their droppings became normal again. The pellets look fresh, do not look over-processed (like other brands), and are made with healthier ingredients. I will purchase this again!

I bought an unweaned baby cockatiel, and he just didn't want to wean off of handfeeding. I bought this pellet, as I figured it looked similar to the baby food and put a small dish in the cage and a little hot water over it to soften it up. It did help to wean him, but now he refuses to eat it altogether, once he figured out how to eat seeds and millet, like most cockatiels.
