So glad I bought this!
I really like this. Packaging was excellent, everything intact and proper. I love that it has markings down the board every 3 inches. I have really needed those, because I can't eyeball my drawn score lines that are mid cardstock and tell that they are beginning and ending in the right groove. I haven't used it yet, but there are instructions on the back of the packaging. A note is made to hold the bone folder at an angle, like holding a pen, otherwise holding it straight up may damage the paper/cardstock.There's a score tool, the "bone" folder, but no other. A 12" Grid card is available separately, with one side for cutting, but not scores. I'm not thinking I'll buy that. We'll see how actual use goes, later today. It looks promising.

FANTASTIC Device for Making Greating Cards!
Recently I've been making my own greeting cards, which I color laser print on the color "copier/printer" at work on Extra Heavy cardstock. Specifically, 12 pt, 247 gsm (g/m2), glossy coated 1-side. I make my cards "full bleed", which is to say I print them on larger cardstock or note cards and then cut them down so that the image goes to the edge of the card... NO BORDER.I was buying lighter weight, pre-folded (scored w crease) cards (5" x 7" that I cut down to 4 1/2" x 6 1/2") but realized I could use flat 8 1/2" x 11" stock instead. That way I could get heavier stock, at a lower price, that printed better because it didn't have the folding crease. In addition, I didn't have the hassle of trying to line up the photo on the front to exactly match the crease. Also, I didn't have to deal with cards that didn't fold exactly evenly. Instead, I started printing on standard sized 8 1/2" x 11" stock and scoring the cardstock myself, using a letter opener. That worked OK, but only scored/creased one side of the cardstock, so still had some slight tearing of the paper fibers. Then I found this device!. ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!This device, in the 12" x 12" size, handles my full sheet of paper, regardless of whether my card folds vertically (portrait) or horizontally (landscape). It is dead accurate and because of the grooves in the base, my cards now fold perfectly without any tearing of the paper fibers (see photos). One I score and then fold the card, I cut it down to its final size using a paper cutter or razor knife and metal ruler.I read a review about the included bone folding tool not working well, so I ordered a highly rated bone tool at the same time. Well, I've tried both and the included tool works great. This scoring device is so PERFECT that I may buy another one in order to keep one at work (where I do the printing) and one at home.

Great product
The board works well, but I don't like the stylus - it was constantly jumping out of the groove when I use it with cardstock. It might work fine on soft paper, but I rarely score soft paper, so haven't tried that. For cardstock, I use a stylus with a pointed plastic tip from another product (I think it was for applying rub-ons) instead of the one that came with the board, and it works much better - stays in the grooves but doesn't punch through.

Great scoring board!
I saw so many crafters use this particular brand of score board and finally bought one for myself. It works as expected and I like that you can score in eights. I'm happy with it!

A Quality Product at a Great Value
My Scor-Pal came on time, and wrapped nicely to protect it from damage.I absolutely love this scoring board. It is true to size, and will fit a 12" x 12" piece of paper. The scoring grooves are deep enough that you can score heavier card stock with ease, but not so deep that thinner paper gets ripped through. The scoring tool latches in securely, so you don't have to worry about it falling out when It's in storage. I also appreciate that I can use my own scoring tool on this board; it's not a system that forces you to use their tools. There are rulers on three sides, which is great for left-handed people. I found myself laying paper in it just to check sizes quickly and easily.I do wish there was a way to easily mark commonly used scoring positions, but the measurement are so clearly marked that it was easy to find the groove I needed at just a quick glance.Overall, a very high quality product, and definitely the best value in scoring boards I've ever seen.
