LEGOLEGO Star Wars Resistance Black Ace TIE Interceptor 75242 Building Kit (396 Pieces)

This is an amazing lego set. It is a great replacer for a tie fighter which are upwards of 100 dollars. The structure is amazing and it was a super quick easy and fun build.5stars I would highly recommend. Although it is from the resistance tv show which I’m not a big fan of.

- The thing about Star Wars vehicles are that most designs consist of stylish appeal that make the vehicles themselves iconic, i.e Millennium Falcon or the X-Wing Starfighter.The Star Wars Resistance line, from the new animated show, is no different. Griff Halloran’s Black Ace Tie Interceptor is a great looking modified Tie-Fighter rendered LEGO set. Along with his mini-fig, included are Poe Dameron and BB-8 coming along for the trip. As with many of these particular Star Wars builds, the instructions have a somewhat repetitious nature as the symmetry is balanced out for the vehicle. However, it’s still a great set for people of all ages; in fact, once it’s completed, it pairs up real well with General Vonreg’s Tie-Fighter as a nice companion piece for the Resistance line.Despite the cool, playable features of the toy, I do feel one should see if they’re able to get the set on sale. The retail goes for $50, and is basically the same box size as the Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase, for sale at $30, albeit at a smaller brick count.That said, no Star Wars LEGO fan should miss out on adding this one to their collections.

Was skeptical ordering a Lego set from Amazon, but it came in the original packaging and in good condition. Very satisfied.

Great little build. Just trying to get use to the design. Reminds me of a cross between a Jedi star fighter and imperial tie fighter. The pilot design is kinda lame but that’s not legos fault. I only bought this because it was on sale. I would have never bought this for the original asking price because it just doesn’t appeal to me

I am a Lego nerd and college student who bought this set with my own money. I did not get compensated to write a review. This set itself is fantastic, but at $50.00 for 396 pieces, there are better sets for your money. That being said , I honestly wish there were a way to give 4.5 stars instead of 4. The box comes with three bags, a sticker sheet and the instructions. The set was an easy build, taking about 40 minutes. Bag one features the cockpit, while the other two bags feature each of the wings, which are built essentially the same, but still feature some rare parts and interesting building techniques. The secret compartment in the back which stores extra ammo doesn’t have a way to hold the ammo down, so it does rattle a bit when moving the ship around. That being said, the two guns fire really well. The figures are superb, especially the Griff Halloran figure which comes with hair and a unique helmet (but no double-sided face). I am in love with the detailing of the inside of the cockpit of this set, but sometimes it is challenging to sit the figure inside. The set is light. While on one hand, it makes the ship very swooshable, I do feel like if I hadn't gotten this set on sale for $40.00, I would have been overpaying. Having paid $40.00 I certainly feel like I got my money’s worth and would recommend the set at this price.

This was a great gift for my 8 year old nephew. He is a big fan and assembled it in 3 hours, with a little adult help.

This was a gift for a child and he loved it. I saw the finished results and it is your regular Legos and the product is a big hit with kids and adults.

My son (age 9) has recently gotten into Star Wars Resistance, so he was really excited to get this set. He's an experienced builder and had no trouble building this set himself, and immediately designated it as his favorite because of its cool look and the size being larger than he expected.
