A great "dirty keto" option with awesome flavor.
I eat keto and also like to bbq quite often. I've tried a ton of different sugar free sauces and I will say for flavor this one wins hands down. Its got a rich and slightly spicy flavor to it similar to traditional KC sugar laden sauce, but with a notably "stevia" after taste. If you don't care for the taste of stevia you probably are not going to like this sauce. It doesn't inundate you with the stevia flavor but it definitely makes its presence at the party known. I have always bought the Slim N Sweet version of the sauce as I prefer to get my smoke flavor the old fashioned way. There is one caveat I have is this sauce would definitely not be considered clean keto. Its firmly in the dirty keto section with the inclusion of corn starch and soy sauce in the ingredients. At 3 grams of carbs per 2 tbsp it can add up if you like to drench your food with it and you care about carbs. But for me its a great option. I like the taste and if used in reasonable amounts the carbs are acceptable to me. Also do not expect this sauce to caramelize like traditional sugar based sauce on the grill. I wont fault it for that as I have never seen any sugar free sauce do that. 5 stars from me. Its exactly what it says it is, a stevia based KC bbq sauce with a taste thats surprisingly awesome.

Best sugar free BBQ sauce and its not even remotely close
Ok so I am a huge fan of BBQ, but in December was getting too fat and went on a low carb diet. Believe it or not I lost 80lbs eating mostly BBQ and staying away from sugar and junk food. I tried at least 8 different sugar free BBQ sauces and they all have that fake sugar substitute in them and you can tell by the strange aftertaste. This stuff is different there are no sugar subs in it to alter the taste and it has a mild natural sweetness to it that compliments pork really well. I used this on my ribs the last time I had people over and didn't tell anyone it was sugar free and nobody had a clue, its that good.

Yummy overall, but...
I’m gonna give this a 4 star rating because truthfully it’s probably the best tasting and well-balanced BBQ sauce I’ve ever had and I really like it. I absolutely hate corn syrup and this product does not contain it seemingly. The front label clearly states sugar-free yet the ingredients state sugar is added, albeit trivial. I don’t have a problem with real sugar... just advertisements stating otherwise. It also contains soy which is usually GMO and that is something hard to avoid in any bottled sauce. For that reason I avoid all supermarket crap... corn syrup, colorings, and other garbage. This sauce, despite the above I feel is a winner. It’s really tasty and has a nice background heat. Very good overall and I think I found the best out there. I will continue to buy and got some chicken ready for the grill anxiously awaiting this sauce. Just my 2 cents...

Out of date.
When I revived the sauce it was nearly two months past the “best by” date and the lid was also cracked. It does smell really good but the taste is way too sweet for me.

Remarkably Good
Just like the label says - this really is remarkably good. Has a nice smoky flavor with a bit. Sweetened by stevia. A litle pricey though.

An honest review...
Yay! My sauce arrived today and I could not wait to break into the package (very well packed, by the way)Sniff, sniff...Great! Shook the bottle well and dipped my finger in...Hmmm spicy and tangy and seemed just right until- the stevia aftertaste kicked in. Unfortunately, I have a very sensitive palate and the tase of the stevia is unmistakable and absolutely not one I can tolerate. So sorry about this as I was really hoping to LOVE this sauce. Now, if the manufacturer were to change the recipe to include erythritol as opposed to stevia, I'd be a lifelong customer. For now, however, I will be asking for a refund.

Another Summer of Keto and this one will be the "Summer of Rufus."
Last summer was good, but the winter has been tough on this Keto dieter.I am looking toward yard work and "Beating the Rules" by burning tree limbs. A colleague calls it "The Loophole - if I cook food on the grill after I burn, well, the fireman can't touch me. I have nice neighbors that wouldn't turn me in anyway :).Bought my first Rufus Teague 7 months ago at the end of summer and it just sat in the pantry - I finally tried it a month ago because I ran out.Now I'm on my third order, each one a doubling of the last.Sheesh, this stuff is good. Takes a few bites for the heat to rise, but it does, and it is good, then it's not that strong, so you are not overwhelmed. Learned this adding it to just Broccoli/Cauliflower veggies as the meat cooked. Just took a few bites during the wait, but I was hooked.Ships well-packed in a tight two-pack that doesn't waste space.Did I mention I like it?Recommended.

I was never a sauce guy until I discovered this!
The flavor is really, really great stuff. The thickness is very thick, it won't just run out of the flask, you have to use a tool or have patience. Now, i suffer from acid reflux, there's enough heat to give it a little kick to the mouth, however, it will not mess with my throat, truly amazing stuff!! The reason why i find this BBQ sauce most wonderful, it's SUGAR FREE! there's a trivially amount of sugar from a key ingredient, once in my mouth, I can tell that high quality ingredients have been used to create such a wonderful sauce.
