I am an IT professional that was looking for a small 2 in 1 for the basics; internet, email and standard office products. Something east to carry and use when traveling. This fit the bill.A couple of notes for a future buyer:The laptop arrives with no charge. When you first boot it up, mine would not boot to windows due to system time. The laptop is not broken. When prompted, enter setup (bios), and update the date/time. When you reboot, windows will load fine.The OS actually shows as Windows 10 Pro Education. I was expecting S to convert to Home but not a deal breaker for me.

Hey dont waste your time trying to buy this piece of crap. its like a toy and just garbage. I regret buying this. The advertising of this product fools you and I was mislead with what i saw online and when it arrived. Please do not buy this

Did a dual boot to make sure it worked, then got rid of Windows.

It's not very powerful but I can do all the typing and internet things I need to do. It's super portable and the battery life is great.

11e 5th gen 4GB of RAM 128 SSD RAM, N4100 . Got this laptop for the purpose of doing as much homework I can outside under the sun to stay healthy. I was very concerned that the screen would be unusable but if you edit the power settings and disable the brightness auto adjust then the screen works fine. As long as the screen is not aimed directly at the sun you can still be under the sun and read the screen but you will have to focus on the screen and not the near perfect reflection of yourself or bright wall behind you. I still keep the laptop in the shade as it gets really hot under the sun. I have not tried using it under solar noon under directsunlight but it is in the shade with me while I and most of my body is under the sun. No lag or slugishness and the keyboard is wonderful! I enjoy typing on this. the left and right clickers work and I have pluged in a 128 micro SD card to save files on incase something happens all files are saved on there. powercord is a nice length and battery life is really good 7 to 8 hours with max brightness and wifi disabled. I try to do all work on an ethernet cable. when I do use the wifi to watch youtube videos I do notice that will make the battery life significantly go down but when I download the videos and play them with no wifi the bettery life is great. No backlit keyboard which is great for me since I avoid blue light. love all the ports it comes with and have bought protectors to keep dirt out of the ports. I do have to watch out for debree falling into the keyboard but its a risk I am willing to take. For inside classroom use this labtop could not be more perfect. I have not tested with matlab or an ossciliscope yet. at this pricepoint I am tempted to buy another one since everything on this laptop works well. Yoga mode is very handy if outside and I have a clean base such as a cardboard box to use as a surface to watch videos while protecting the keys.

This laptop worked for 35 days fine then the screen went blank. Amazon only guaranteed for 30 days. Lenovo support took back to repair. I reveived it back in 7 days and incurred another problem. Spent over 1.5 hours on phone w lenovo trying to fix. I am now sending back to repair AGAIN! Do not recommend.

I got this for my 12 yr. old grandson who tends to be rough on things. It seems heavy-duty and durable and operates fast. No complaints so far. I would have liked the screen to be a little bigger, but that's not a big deal. Good computer for the price.Fast forward to several weeks later and I regretfully have to change my original 5-star review. Right after I wrote the original review, the laptop starts beeping so my grandson powers it off. Then it wouldn't come back on. Went to the Lenovo web site and sat in queue for over an hour waiting for online chat. When it was finally my turn I couldn't get the chat feature to work - no submit or send button! So then it displayed a phone number to call. I called and got right through to a rep. Why don't they display this phone number on their web site? Sent the machine back for repair; it was returned within a week. It did come on when the power button was pressed but then got stuck in the boot menu. Thankfully when the laptop was returned they gave me a phone number to call if I had problems. Called and got through quickly. Now have to send it back again. They said they were missing some password so couldn't get the OS to boot up. I gave them the only password we knew, which is the username and password my grandson originally set up to get on the computer. On the repair form they ask for all these passwords and I don't know what they are talking about. It's almost as if they expect the customer to be a computer technician. The only reason I give them two stars instead of just one is that everyone I've talked to on the phone has been courteous and attempted to be helpful. But very sorry I bought this computer and my grandson is very disappointed because this was his birthday present.

I bought it renewed for my office and it comes almost new, excelent conditions and as a bonus they sent me a better processor, 100% percent satisfied, very fast, tactil is an excelent tool for work faster, batery comes with very high efficience.
