Haven't plugged it in yet,(sad right?) frets are rough-just get them filed down then it's perfect \m/ XD \m/
Five stars and so worth it, they are gonna sell a lot of these.. I noticed a few things I like and were surprised of and only one thing I did not like but expected for the price range,(nothing bad) Action was set nice and low, which makes it easier to play. Smooth neck, they polished this like it was their old hot rod. And aside from the edges of the frets, which I will have to get those filed down and then it will play like a dream. It has a a very pleasing tone, a combination of the Spruce top, the Rosewood finger board and the Mahogany neck make a great sound. Nice deep lows, resonant mids, and the highs are not too twangy like I would expect on a cheaper guitar. Well crafted, I guess them Washburn folks seem to know what they are doing...(laughs) Joking aside, this is worth every penny, so if you are on a budget I recommend it highly. I have read the electronics are usually good, and have yet to plug it in.. Gonna be fun to hear it plugged in and play with some of my effects and even jam it on Rocksmith. Such a great acoustic guitar...love it.

Good response by Amazon
First guitar arrived damaged. Returned and had another in 2 days. Good response by Amazon.Guitar is actually very great for a guitar that costs under 200 dollars. The action is very nice right out of the box.No fret buzz at any position and the strings are nice and low. Came with decent strings also. D'Addario EXP's.Sound is nice, perhaps not very full when unplugged but this isn't a problem for me since I bought it specifically to play plugged in and I have a rubber sound hole cover in it now pretty much full time.Plugged in it sounds great. I particularly like that the guitar has an XLR output jack.I run it into my vocal processor along with a mic for recording. For a sub $200 guitar the intonation is pretty close. That's generally what suffers with cheaper acoustic guitars.I have more expensive guitars that have worse intonation than this. It does what I bought it for and I'd say it's remarkable for the price. This is my second Oscar Schmidt guitar and both have been very good products exceeding what one would expect for the price.

Excellent tone n craftmanship
Strings that came with it are good. But I preferred a diff weight. action was pefect. Tone is excellent after it breaks in a week or two.

Good value
I bought my Oscar Schmidt OG2CE about a year ago, for about $150. I wanted a good quality budget priced guitar for knocking around. This guitar met my expectations quite well. Materials were good, the assembly was good, and the sound was at least as good as most laminated top guitars. The guitar did have a problem, which became apparent shortly after I received it. The electronic preamp would not switch off once it was turned on, and quickly drained a couple of batteries before I recognized the problem. I contacted Oscar Schmidt, who quickly sent me a new preamp @ no charge. Problem solved. Thanks Oscar Schmidt. Your quick, no-hassle customer service bought my loyalty and a good review for this guitar. My only other issue was that the action could have been lower. I could have filed down the bridge, but that takes some skill to get it exactly right. I just happened to have a spare bridge laying around, which was lower, that just dropped it, Problem solved. Now I have great action. So, with one repair, and one tweak, I ended up with a pretty darn good guitar which I use everywhere, at home in my studio, and out in public when I play. I still like my Taylor, but this Oscar Schmidt fills the bill nicely.
