Great pickup I used it in the neck
I put this in the neck position for a test and I liked it allot. It's got a creamy driven mid range sound. It's kind of a hot pickup and workswill with a over driven tube amp.

My Favorite Pickup of All Time
This pickup is incredible. It has so much character! The overtones, the harmonics, the punch, the singing highs, the articulation, the sustain, the vowel-sound mids, and the versatility are all stand out qualities that make this such a good pickup. One of the most significant things about the Tone Zone is that you can put it in a cheap guitar and let the pickup do most of the heavy lifting tone wise. I've used a Tone Zone in many different guitars and amps over the course of 14 years. The only bridge pickups that can even come close would be the EVH Wolfgang pickups or the Dimarzio Satchur8. I highly recommend this pickup and this particular seller as well.Update: I feel stupid, I didn't get the F-Spaced one! I now need to uninstall it and get a new one this is going to be a pain in the butt! Do your research people!

They're hot!
These are great sounding pickups. Very hot. Put one in the Donner Designer series guitar. Really didn't need, that's a great low budget guitar for $145, but I wanted to try a Dimarzio. I usually go with Seymore Duncan. Your not gonna go wrong with either, but the Zone Tone is a hot pickup. Well worth it. I haven't added a Mojo tone wiring harness yet, that's next.

Highly Recommend the Tone Zone
The tone zone was installed in the bridge position of a Gibson Les Paul BFG. A rocksong chrome is in the neck. The tone zone sounds great into Marshall and Fender amps. Hot but not too hot. It doesn’t have the nasal honk of the Super Distortion, just a very even sound that isn’t thin or too bassy. Makes the Les Paul versatile enough to play about any style of music.

Solid Pickup
This is a good sounding pickup. It also sounds good when wired for split coil. Good for a guitar lacking in low end.

Great pickup and great tone. Fair price, too.

World's most "okayest" pickup
This pickup is iconic, kind of good, but not great. It's in every upper-tier Ibanez, which means I've probably sampled 30 or 40 of them; it's a non-offensive pickup that isn't bright enough to be annoying and although VERY bassy, isn't overly messy. All that said, it is a very dark and slightly muddy pickup compared to something like a PAF Pro or FRED. It has very little high end and a big low end, which is a bit of a challenge to deal with. All this said, it is still a good pickup, clearer than a lot of stock pickups, but if you're playing ANYTHING even remotely modern, this pickup is NOT for you. If you want clarity and punch without the mud, get a Satchur8, FRED, Steve's Special or D-Activator...even a Norton would be clearer and more versatile. The only style I see this pickup working for would be older EVH stuff, but even then, there is still just so little high-end at all

Dope
The sound from this pickup is outstanding. Way better than the stock pickup that came on my Razorback. You won't regret it.
