people with hardwood floor are leaving bad reviews because they don’t know that you’re supposed to use rubber rug pads for hardwood floors under this. This pad is for cushioning and protecting your rug. I used it on my carpeted room to have a nice cushion sitting area I do not have this problem if anything it helps the rug not slide off the carpet. It also helps the rug not fold up on itself even if you have hardwood floor. The only thing you need if you have hardwood floor is to get in adhesive or under this padding. Both sides of this padding are pretty soft. The bottom is just slightly more flattened, but it doesn’t make a difference to me if anything it should help to stick rubber adhesive pads under it if you have hardwood floor. Nothing to complain about and definitely won't be returning. This feels like it will last a few years if not more.

I have purchased 3 of these separately in the last 3 months.I loved the first one upstairs in my bedroom, but after refinishing my main floor hardwood floors and I purchased a new rug that I did not think I wanted or needed a rug pad under, I changed my mind after the first pad purchase.It not only was helpful in keeping my 9x12 bedroom rug in place, it made this new rug feel soft and luxurious.I ended up buying my second pad to put under an already existing (15 year old rug) formal living room rug and the third pad was put under a brand new dining room rug. Everyone said I didn't need one there but I'm glad I put this pad pad under if. Again, it made the dining room rug feel more luxurious.

I love it. I read some reviews where people were upset about it being a little to long , but i like that the most about it. I'd rather it be too big than to small. I got a 9x12 and its just slightly longer.Its helping hold my rug in place. Stays put once laid down and provided extra comfort under foot even though I got the thinnest one. I wish I had gone thicker. Love it! Good quality. Shipped fast.Highly recommend to others. Love the vibrant color easy to vacuum.

Exactly what we needed. Had to cut it down a little as it was sticking out from under the rug we purchased it for. Next time I think I would order the size down just so I didn't need to trim so much, bought a 9x12 pad for a 9x12 rug and there we had to trim about 6 inches off.

have had zero success in finding a 100% felt rug pad in italy - so I bought the 1/4" and on one trip home brought back an empty suitcase to put it in... it fit and now I have a little softness under my Persian rug that needed it (for my tired feet from walking everywhere)

This product is amazing we bought it to go under an area rug on our wood floors and it helps keep the furniture from sliding and is extremely comfortable

Worked great to add a little cushion under a flat rug I ordered. Remember to order a smaller size than your actual rug.

This is the second pad I have purchased from this company, the first one was perfect. This one left a lot to be desired! First, the material is not as nice and has “hard” pieces that you can feel when you stand on it. The overall is comfortable, on a hard wood floor, but nowhere as nice and comfortable as the first one. Second, the cuts are not straight. The long left hand side goes in about 3 inches from one corner to the other. The opposite side is less than an inch. I am not expecting exact cuts, but that is pretty bad! Third, it tends to bunch up under the rug, the first acts like a rug magnet, not moving nor letting the rug move. All in all, disappointing, but jot enough to return. If this was for a room with more traffic or expected closer engagement with the pad - I would be sending it back.
