Can you disable the godaweful intro music?

Haha some sadistic moron thought this was a good idea to install and not allow it to be disabled. This alone is a great reason why not to buy this speaker...that and the fact the sound is the same as an old transister radio...good for audiobooks though.

Can you play using from a USB with 3.0 interface?

You play it using Bluetooth. But I wouldn’t buy it, I sent mine back as the sound it very tinny

Can mp3 files be loaded directly on and played? Instead of connecting to a mp3 playing device?

You can use this speaker with a TF card/U disk (below 16G), or you can use its FM function, you can use this speaker separately without connecting to Bluetooth.
