I’ve been accessing the Records for many years now and Lisa Barnett gives an easy, precise way to access them. I find her prayers to be an excellent resource to access my Records. Her explanations of the information we can receive in the Records is spot on. I enjoyed reading this book and find it very inspiring!

The Infinite Wisdom of the Akashic Records offers you a few different ways to enter your Akashic Records with easy to follow directions and exercises, yet profound in insights and the growth offered within these pages. Lisa Barnett's compassion for the individual's path is evident in her desire to help humanity release it's pain and return to a more loving and compassionate way of life. She accomplishes this beautifully by sharing the prayers the Beings of Light have requested she share with all of humanity. All we have to do is make the choice to pick up the book and learn how to help ourselves with its guidance. I'm glad I pick up mine. Thank you Lisa.

Excellent book ! Though I was skeptical about the reviews about the Akashic records as it sounded too new age for me, when I opened the akashic records for myself according to Lisa Barnett I got a tremendous shift in consciousness and a new way to do introspection . The opening of the akashic records is amazing easy and powerful and keep you in an effortless meditation much longer than with any other type of meditation technique plus you get insights that were not there before the meditation.Hundreds times better than Vipassana or mindfulness and much more useful. Spiritual idependence without masters or people in between is no doubt the way and Lisa Barnett's Akashic Records is a must for that.I am happy that we westerners are getting these kind of new enlightening insights that free us from already useless meditation techiniques , dogmas and masters. thank you !

Don't read spoiler section if you want to experience the book totally for yourself as I am going to reveal something I wasn't expecting as I was not familiar with Linda Barnett before reading this book. I purchased it based on reading some of the reviews. I have read a few of these books, namely Linda Howe's How to Read the Akashic Records: Accessing the Archive of the Soul and Its Journey and Ernesto Ortiz (this appears to be new version of book I purchased in Kindle version) http://www.amazon.com/Akashic-Records-Exploration-Collective-Consciousness/dp/1601633459/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1449273728&sr=8-1&keywords=Ernesto+Ortiz. I read the other books awhile ago and occasionally pick up a new book and read about the subject. All 3 books use prayers to access the Akashic Records. If I remember correctly Linda Howe's prayer was the longest and actually I was able to access the recorded prayer itself at Sounds True (don't know if it's still there) and I think there used to be a video of her reading it on YouTube. It just didn't speak to me though I am sure many found it useful. I think I felt more connection to Ernesto Ortiz's book. The version I purchased doesn't seem to be in print anymore and I am not sure if the new version is the same or has changes but I am assuming it is essentially the same. His prayers were short and to the point. Ortiz emphasizes self-improvement Akashic Records or not.Some reviews complained about the commercial aspects of the book, but these days it's par for the course as the authors are basically publishing these book(s) to help their businesses and support themselves. Her courses, meditations or readings/healings could end up costing you quite a bit as there are several levels before you can take the final level teaching you how to read for others and it's not as if your problem will necessarily be solved in one healing/reading session with Barnett. She offers a discount for the reading/healing with purchases but the sessions are $245 for 30 min session and $475 for 75 min session according to her Akashic Knowing website at the writing of this review so you might end up paying quite a sum even with the "discount" and you will have the price of the purchase in addition. She does teach via teleseminar. You can check her out on YouTube as there are interviews and some meditations/clearings/healings for the general audience and you can see if it works for you or not before purchasing this book or any of her other products.Barnett says as you heal yourself you heal the "collective energy of humanity because your healing energy expands out into the ether." While true at the same time realize each person in the collective makes his or her own decision. In my view a healing is an offering and no healer of the light forces healing upon another. So while it sounds like a very noble gesture toward the whole of humanity realize you are on your journey and others are on theirs at the same time even though we are connected. Some like to walk only what they perceive as positive and that is their choice. I point out that people can and do choose the ways of ego, violence and greed, even people who regard themselves as spiritual.Barnett takes the view money woes could be related to things like taking vows of poverty when living as a monk, nun or ascetic in past lives that still influence us in this life. Many take the Western Capitalist view money is connected to self worth so there is nothing wrong with charging fees in fact if you don't charge fees you don't value yourself or somehow have blocked or sabotaged yourself. I don't have anything against this concept but wish to point out the charging of fees is also influenced by cultural and spiritual beliefs. Some practitioners prefer to accept donations and not charge fees as they don't wish to exclude anyone from receiving knowledge or help and some do quite well working this way. Also in some spiritual systems one does not charge for what are God's gifts and it is understood that if you received a benefit you will try to repay it in some way even if it is not financial. Some also want to avoid the issues of ego and greed connected to constantly cranking up the business model and connecting self worth to money. Granted this doesn't fit well into Western capitalist values, but let's be clear that there can be opposing values that are equally valid and if one chooses to lead a humble life there is nothing wrong with that either. Why should we feel if we aren't earning large sums of money there is something "wrong" or "insufficient"? Again this is a choice, I just want to put forward people should not feel what they choose is somehow wrong either way...it's just another choice.Overall I liked Linda Barnett's book and it does contain the basic info comparable to other books to help those wanting to connect with the Akashic and read their own records only. It was clear and relatively short. She also wrote up the section where you read/practice the 3 included prayers into 3 complete prayers with opening and closing so you don't have to flip back and forth through the book. I appreciated how this section was organized. Barnett says the book contains her level 1 course so you can jump into level 2 if you're comfortable and interested. I enjoyed the prayer of forgiveness which she recommends doing for 33 days (I think I read the same in Ernesto Oritiz's book for his own prayer. There were a few similarities such as reading the prayer(s) and not memorizing them. Made me wonder if these practitioners are just repackaging their own versions of stuff that's been around for awhile). The print size was also fairly large so if you have any vision problems this could be a plus for those reading the print copy. For the clarity of the book and reasonable price I gave it 4 stars.SPOILER--don't read this section if you want to experience the book for yourself.This book uses prayers like the others, but after you go through the 3 prayers and figure out which one you have the strongest connection to it links the prayer to "alien" lineage. According to Barnett I am of the Sirian lineage and I also felt some connection to the Galactic Traveler prayer. The intuition I got was 25% connection to prayer 3 (which turned out to be Galactic Traveler).What I found curious is according to those who claim to be star connected there are a lot of alien races out there. In the book there are only 3 prayers/lineages given, Sirius, Arcturus, Galactic Traveler so I wondered what happened to the rest of the aliens such as the Pleiadians, Reptilians and alike? Barnett says that these were the most popular prayers among her students, but still why limit the prayers given? There's a woman on YouTube interviewing Barnett who took Barnett's class and said, if I heard her correctly, she is a P (after you figure out what prayer you resonate with thereafter Barnett uses letters and numbers to indicate lineage and prayer #), so I assume P is probably Pleiadian lineage? I can only assume as Barnett says the book is essentially level 1, level 1 does not contain all the lineages. I'm thinking here if you don't resonate with any of the prayers you aren't of any of these lineages so I'm not sure what happens in this case. I guess you are left using a prayer that doesn't quite fit or taking her course(s) or maybe finding another resource. I am not sure what you do if you don't resonate with the alien thing. I am just plain 'ol human and don't need any alien lineage to know I come from the Divine Creator's star stuff and I'm special and perfect just as I am. After all we humans are aliens off this world aren't we?

I've taken classes on the Akashic Records and read about them, but after reading Lisa Barnett's book, I can finally access my own records. Her techniques are direct and fail-proof. She makes this complex subject easy to understand. Before even completing the book, I was able to access the records for practical information in dealing with questions and situations in my life. I also posted Lisa's notice that her book was in the stores on Facebook, and a friend of mine ran right out and bought her book, too. He is also super enthused about this tool, and has been accessing his record every day. Many thanks for this illuminating work, Lisa. I appreciate your leadership and willingness to share.
