Viscous, round, fruity, happy!
It has that amazing mouth feel, and the flavours are great - very figgy! It's one for sipping and enjoying slowly. And there's something about a port whose taste you really like, which you take slowly, which makes you feel immensely positive!edit: previously I've bought this in cooler months, February and March, and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time I bought a bottle in the middle of July and it isn't nearly as enjoyable at summer temperatures. It loses that sensation of viscosity, mouth feel when at summer room temperature. It needs temperature control. I don't have a cellar so it's the fridge or room temperature and neither is right. Refrigeration is too cold and summer temperature is too warm. This is one for the cooler months, 12 degrees or lower.

Wonderful
Smooth with great depth of flavour, excellent port for the price. Will buy again for sure. Not too sweet at all but plenty of dried fruit flavour.

Gifford Son-in-law- Nice bottle a gift tube, Just a shame about dented lid, hence 4 stars.
Part of a three part gift for my son-in-law. Bought this bottle in a gift tube as recipient likes his Port and being a reserve is a little bit more special than the norm, hence the price. Was a little disappointed to find the lid to the gift tube dented despite the robust packaging but I’m sure the son in-law won’t hold it against me and will enjoy the contents. Well packaged and arrived next day.

Bought as Christmas present
Was already told that this was a great port to buy. Found out my boyfriends dad wanted to start getting into port a bit. The box it came in was a really nice touch for a Christmas present. Have been told that it’s a lovely smooth taste!

Escalation In Endulgence gence
I have been, and still am, a stout drinker---but, having sampled the Trooper stout at 10% which is more experimentalism than decadence I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of sampling differing palettes, which leads me to why I am bothering to place a review upon this gorgeous alcohic adventure: I am a Nephoyte, potentially an Acolyte of Bachus---this port has the seductive ability to use the power to make the imbiber paralysed by cerebral submission---this quaffe is a bitch spankbang boxer of a gourge.
