Fast and easy.
Really fast swap. Last pump seized. Got it a day early, really fair price. Very minor required adjustments. It did have a normal plug instead of a locking plug but that doesnt really matter. Started right up. Quiet. Today is day one. So far so good. If I have problems I will update.

Poor refund policy from Amazon on a defective item
i bought this pool pump from Amazon and after i installed the unit it overheated and was venting air via the impeller. i sent it back and order a different pump. Replacment pump ran fine with no issues. I received a partial refund for the defective pump in the amount of $179.00 while i paid $365.00 for it. The reason stated for the partial pump was the item was not returned unused or in the shape that i received it. not sure how i was gonna know the pump was gonna overheat without removing it from the box, install it and use it to pump my pool water. i ordered the second pump before i knew that Amazon was gonna screw me on the refund or i would have just bought one from my local pool supply vendor. You may want to use caution when placing an order from Amazon that they may not honor a return for a defective , made in China , item.

This unit is the only one I could find that still has horizontal discharge. I just have the pump up & running now. Appears to work fine

This company works with you.
We have an older filter and needed to replace the pump. At firs we thought this one would not work as it did not fit. We started a return and they offered us a discount to keep it. My husband checked around and was able to find parts to make it fit, and the discount helped pay for them. Great product. Great company.
