I was a little hesitant buying Sencha on Amazon after several bad experiences with other sellers.However, I’m happy to say that this is the best Sencha on Amazon. I am blown away by its freshness and quality.I’ve been looking for Sencha sourced from the Kyoto region in Japan for quite some time. Rishi is a well-known international distributor of green tea, and seeing their organic Sencha here is exciting.The tea was delivered in a nice vacuum sealed package. Upon opening it, I could immediately tell that this was fresh tea. The aroma was phenomenal, super crisp, refreshing, and just lovely all around.I made my first infusion, and the taste was spectacular. Buttery, sweet, not much bitterness. I brewed it for just a minute, at 170 F water in a Kyushu teapot. I got three excellent infusions from it.Yes this tea is pricey but I find the price to be worth it. This is going to be my regular go-to going forward!

This is a really nice green tea as long as you steep at a lower temperature and for a short time. Otherwise it’s comes out too bitter.

The tea appears to be weaker than in the pas, even after letting the bag in the container for a long while. I know because I gave buy them multiple times in the past. Hopefully, it was only a bad luck in my part of getting inferior batch.

I have to say, I've never seen such fresh-looking tea leaves before! Each bag has a generous amount of tea leaves and after steeping, the leaves look like they had just come off the plant.Taste: To be honest, I was hoping it would have a nicer flavor, but I'm just not really a fan of green tea. I want to drink it for its health benefits, though, so I hoped maybe a higher quality brand would taste better than what I usually get. I'm sure it does taste better, just still not as enjoyable to me as I'd hoped. It's not the tea, it's me.The teabags are vegan-friendly, which is a must for me! This might surprise most people, but some of the fancier tea bags are made from silk, which comes out of caterpillars, making it not vegan. Even if you're not vegan or vegetarian, you might not like the thought of consuming something that came out of a bug. (Guess what? There are actually a lot of food products that contain ingredients derived from bugs! Ew.) Rishi tea bags are derived from plants and are biodegradable in compost.This tea is also organic and ethically sourced, which are both things that are important to me

I recently tried the Rishi Tea Organic Green Tea Matcha Super Green, and I am thoroughly impressed! The blend of matcha and sencha creates a rich and vibrant flavor that's both refreshing and energizing. The quality of the tea is evident in every sip—it's smooth, not too bitter, and has a natural sweetness that I really enjoy.

I'm trying to drink green tea for health reasons, and this one is fairly palatable. If you like tea generally, which I don't, you may like it more. I like this better than matcha green tea.

5 stars for the health benefits. Lot of great health benefits but it tastes so weird. Kinda reminds me of sardines and my partner pointed out that its kinda like brussel sprouts. Its the weirdest tea ive even drink but maybe its just me. Buy a pack and try it out though to enjoy all the great benefits it offer you and hopefully the taste not bothering you
