Aqua Mix Sealer & Coating Remover - Gallon

This stuff did the job on my Saltillo tile that had some kind of dirty, waxy sealant applied by the previous owner. Do pay attention so it doesn't dry on the floor; the gel consistency helps with this. Be prepared to scrub hard; I used a plastic bristle brush. Wipe the gel off THOROUGHLY, using lots and lots of clean towels, because wiping with mucky towels won't get the floor dry enough -- and leaving product there will result in a residue. Get said towels at a thrift store or something, because they'll remain rather crusty even after washing. The smell of the product is kind of a cloying sweet chemical smell, not unpleasant, but definitely strong. Get yourself a pizza for dinner because this is going to be a long project, but it looks nice when you're done.

I have stained cement countertops and had no idea what kind of sealer(s) we’re used. I purchased this product and it worked great. It took two coats with each one left on for an hour. I used a metal putty knife and the sealer scraped off with ease. This product did not effect the stain.

This stuff is used up so fast that it'll take EASILY 10 gallons to even see a marginal outcome on my 200 sf Saltillo patio. And for the $$$$??? Sheesh

This goo really works to remove buildup of old sealer, wax and other adhesives. The fume factor is pretty pervasive however and we’re still waiting to see how long they last (applied product 24 hours ago).

I am so glad I found Aqua Mix Sealer and Coating Remover! We had grout sealer that we could NOT remove on every tile in our bathroom and laundry room. We tried everything, including harsh chemicals, to get the sealer off. We tried sanding and scraping to get the sealer off...nothing worked and we had almost decided to remove the tile and start over. Fortunately we found the a posting on-line from someone recommending Aqua Mix Sealer & Coating Remover. We were unable to find the product in any of the DIY stores, but found it on Amazon. It's a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to remove grout sealer from ceramic tile.

This stuff would take years and many, many gallons of, to remove 13 year-old, gloss look concrete sealer. Rather replace the concrete than think about scrubbing this slime around for weeks on end. In two hours, amd pounds of slime, there was NO VISIBLE DIFFERENCE.

This stuff is aggressive – a gel that sticks like something out of "Aliens" and doesn't want to go away. It certainly does the job, but also ate the plastic of my floor machine, a bucket, and the stopper in my sink. The gel is fatally slippery - like trying to run barefoot on wet ice. The fumes are hellacious, and rinsing took hours.If you have 30 generations of wax and grease build-up in your ancestral industrial kitchen, this is the product for you. If you'd like to continue living in your home while preparing to seal your floors, try something a bit less… extreme.
