6-Cup Stainless Steel Jar with Handle and Lid for Oster Osterizer Blenders Replacement Part 304

Honestly, this Stainless Steel Jar to me feels a better option than the original glass jar that comes with the Oster Blender. The original glass jar was super heavy and posed significant challenge especially if you wash the jar by hand after use. I never had any issue with the original glass jar, but my wife used to complain that it was super heavy and was worried she might drop it someday while cleaning, but at the same time she liked its quality and the fact that she could see what was happening to the food (in terms of batter consistency) as it was getting ground. After 8 years in service, one day accidentally the glass jar hit the corner of our granite counter top and broke. This SS jar is super light and seems to have been produced via draw-forming process or some such similar process. Build quality is excellent and I have to say that my Oster Blender motor will probably fail before anything adverse happens to this jar. Also, this jar works with the rubber seal, the blade and the blade holder from the original glass jar, which is a big plus in my opinion. I believe even though this comes with its own lid, I remember trying on the plastic lid from the original glass jar and it seemed to work too.I would highly recommend this SS replacement jar...

The glass jar broke on my blender. This is so much better! Fits perfectly. Durable and easy to clean. I use it for mixing fresh herbs for animals.(Make sure you save the blades from old machine)

Very flimsy and light weight jar. The metal is like a thin sheet. Also the lid does fit tight as supposed to.

I bought this metal blender jar because I have broken several of the glass jars. It is a lightweight stainless steel. It leaked the first time I tried it, but a new rubber ring in the base seems to have solved that problem. My only complaint is that the metal jar is too smooth on the inside. The ribs inside the original glass jar help to stir the contents to make sure it all gets blended. I always have chunks of fruit left in my smoothies with the metal jar. I can live with it.

LOL! Don't know what "sheerness" means but this was definitely worth the money. Much better than my old glass one which was smaller and heavier and dangerous when I broke it. This was a perfect fit for my blender. My only question about is why is there a little key hole in the top of the lid without anything to plug it? But I just hold my finger over it and it's just fine and even if I take my finger off it doesn't try to throw anything out.
