device failed while downloading pictures
Appears to have failed. looking for support. Device not in folder. Is in device manager. It states external hard drive not migrated due to partial or ambiguous data. It just keeps producing a low whirring beep. Trying to get support.

Drive is crashing
I also bought the 1TB version which has worked well so far. This worked well for several months but thenI got an error message saying that the drive needed to be reformatted. So I losteverything on the drive. This happened twice in one month so now, I'm not using thedrive to backup files. I'm both surprised and disappointed as I didn't expect this type of issuebased on the specs of the drive.
