Great fit, function, and price. Spins up nicely and extends into flywheel gear teeth, as it should, also retracts properly. We replaced the starter Bendix drive, along with a bad starter motor, and a tired original starter solenoid - while we were at it - on a vintage 1994 Polaris 400L Sport 2x4 2-stroke ATV.

Works great. Installation was super easy. All you need to do is pull right floorboard and the flywheel cover off. The part pops right out and the new one goes in. It took me about 20 minutes start to finish. It got rid of the horrible noise coming from the side of the engine.

I just had this installed a couple of days ago, I installed it with a starter, so I can’t attest for reliability or longevity, but it was the right fit.

Works just as well as OEM for a fraction of the price. Mine has endured quite a bit of abuse (fly wheel came loose while riding) and didn’t miss a beat the next time I went to turn over the bike.

This worked just like a charm. Polaris said they were no longer available and put in a used one which never worked. The bendix was perfect and fit.

Outstanding value and works as expected..
