Fun and interesting
Well made, fun to assemble, more complicated than I expected given the variety of colors and patterns so I would say about a 2/4 in difficulty. Fun, challenging but not difficult, good fit. (My scale for reference: 0/4- small children’s puzzles up to about 24 pieces, 1/4- puzzles up to about 500 or those that are obviously simple to assemble, 2/4- 500-2500 with slight difficulty and varying patterns/colors, 3/4- 1000+ with more complex patterns and lots of similar pieces, 4/4- 1500+ with large blocks of solid color, 5/4- 2500+ one color, no patterns, with little distinct shapes of the pieces)

Beautifully made
We loved this puzzle. The pieces are shaped well, so it's easy to tell if you've got a fit or not. They are thick and study. Also, unlike many puzzles, the surface is matte and not shiny. This particular image is very lovely ("ocean life"). I like how there are enough variations in hue and brush stroke that you can fairly easily tell what part of the image a piece is from, but it's still a very challenging puzzle. It comes with a full-size poster.

Beautiful puzzle with full size poster included
This stunning illustration makes for a great puzzling experience. The pieces are sturdy, thick and clean cut and every piece fits uniquely so you can be sure you have a match. There were no pieces peeling off or bent like in many other brands. The puzzle comes with a full size poster of the image, which definitely doesn't happen in most other brands. Highly recommended!

Challenging puzzle
While the quality of the thick linen pieces is good the finish is not matte so the glare is high. The pieces do not hold together so if you put sections together on sorting trays it is difficult to move them to your main puzzle board. Full size poster is great. This is challenging as the colors are in muted tones with similarities across elements in both hue and pattern.

Highly Recommend, Non-Glossy Finish Game Changer
If you've ever wished puzzles weren't so glossy and reflective, this one is for you. The pieces are 75% less shiny than average, making them much easier to see. The pieces are cut well, there's never any uncertainty if two pieces are "supposed" to fit together. Difficulty-wise, it's very challenging without being extreme or frustrating. Nothing in the image is easy to assemble because the colors are muted and the patterns all repeat. It made for several enjoyable puzzling sessions and was engaging from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Good quality pieces
The pieces are not quite as thick as Pomegranate or Ravensburger but definitely substantial enough to enjoy re-puzzling for years. The picture is challenging enough to keep one interested. Peter Pauper Press is a new fav!

Wonderful Puzzle
Really interesting and challenging. Beautiful and unique artwork. Puzzle finish, piece fit, and finish was exceptional. I definitely recommend. It’s challenging, for sure, but great fun and beautiful end result.

Extremely Difficult
I have put together many 500 piece puzzles before. This 1000 piece puzzle is definitely more challenging. It is a beautiful puzzle. I had it in my cart for more than 6 months. It went on sale at Christmas time, so I bought it. The pieces are very similar and the colors don't always match up with the other piece or the color on the box. It is nice to have the poster size guide. But it is very discouraging that after an hour of working on the puzzle I only find about 4 to 6 pieces that fit. It took a few days to get the edge of the puzzle in place. I won't purchase this brand again and will probably stick with 500 piece puzzles from now on. If you find 4 pieces that fit, when you lift them to go to their place they fall apart. I have to try pieces that don't even look like they would fit or match to find where a piece goes. It is pretty maddening!! Normally you can tell by the shapes and colors where a piece will go, not so with this puzzle. The shape and colors are very similar. Many pieces may fit, but you have to look closely to see if there are any gaps to see if it really goes in that spot. I will definitely have a sense of accomplishment when it is done. It gives a whole new meaning to word puzzle. Ravensburger are the best puzzles, but they are expensive.
