Perfect for added storage in my carport
I live in a condo with a large carport and only had a small outdoor closet to store garage/attic type stuff. I had been paying $120 per month for a 5x8 storage unit and was trying to find a way to use the extra space in my carport to eliminate that expense. I live in the PNW and did not want metal because of rust, so the resin units seemed to make the most sense (especially with the easier assembly).I saved on delivery charges buying on Amazon over Home Depot/Lowes, and the base price was about the same so happy about that! I was able to open the box (VERY large and too heavy to lift) at my front door and then move the individual pieces over to my carport for assembly. I put this together by myself in about 3 hours (mid-50s active and average size female). I am not going to say it was easy, but it wasn’t as difficult as some other furniture I have assembled. I was able to follow the instructions with no problem. I would recommend having a partner to help, as I probably could have built this in half the time if I had some help. But it is doable solo if that is the only option. The hardest part to do alone was getting the screws into the proper holes connecting the roof pieces to the walls because you need someone to push the roof piece down outside while someone else is inside screwing them together. I had to find something very heavy that wouldn’t slide off the roof piece to keep it pushed down (I used my beanbag weights in a duffel with a grippy rubber rug mat to keep it from sliding off).My carport asphalt is mostly level so I did not need to build a foundation for it. It would probably be a good idea to do that regardless, but it will work building it on flat asphalt or concrete. I did have to move it slightly to make sure the floor was flat enough (otherwise the doors will not work right and the integrity of the wall joints will be compromised).A few months later I am very happy with it, through many days of rain and some intense wind. I have enough heavy things inside to keep it from blowing away in the wind, and I have it installed on the edge of a covered area. It is mostly protected from the worst exposure issues outside and I do not have a problem with water leaks or being musty inside. I am storing things like Christmas decorations, camping equipment and other items in boxes made to protect from moisture and bugs, and I have a few toolboxes and extra wooden dining chairs in there. So far so good!In 6 months thing thing will have paid for itself with what I am not paying for extra storage, and I am quite happy with it! I can also take it with me if I move. Overall very satisfied and I highly recommend for the type of situation I needed to deal with.

Turned out good
I need a waterproof shed to put my solar power station in, and also for our generator. I picked this one because it doesn’t look out of place against the rock house. The first one I ordered arrived damaged but Amazon picked it up and sent another one 2 weeks later.Working by myself it took 6 hours to assemble. It turned out to be a good choice.

Great storage solution!
Very sturdy and easy to put together! Perfect size for my veranda to store brooms, rakes and outdoor ladder. Put it together myself in about 30 minutes, the instructions are easy to understand. I definitely recommend pre drilling the holes on certain pieces like the instructions say. It seems built to last for a very long time.

Poor product/quality & service
This product fell apart after 2 years. The roof started to melt and warp.. the door doesn’t stay in place any longer and almost fell on my daughter when she touched the handle.Apparently the warranty says that- “ This warranty does not apply to product that has been damaged asa result of acts of God, including, but not limited to: wind, hail, storm, tornado, hurricane, heavy snow, ice, blizzard, flood, or fire effects. This warranty does not apply to product that has been damaged as a result of structural partsand components not supplied by Rubbermaid being used. This warranty does not apply to "Normal Weathering"."Normal Weathering" is defined as exposure to sunlight and extremes of weather and atmosphere which will causeany colored surface to gradually fade, chalk, or accumulate dirt or stains.” So the product that’s suppose to protect the equipment inside is melting from regular sunlight. Due to the warping of the roof, water runs in and all my tools are rusted and damaged. But the product description says :“ • Shed won’t rust or rot providing weather-resistance all year long, unlike metal or wood sheds• MAINTENANCE-FREE: Dent and leak resistant, this shed is designed to stand up to harsh weather conditions and stay looking good, year after year”Which doesn’t seem to add up because it allows water to enter and barely holds up to sunlight. As the roof is warping. Now the door won’t stay in place as well because the roof can’t support it ..I would look else where for a storage product ..

It's... Fine I Guess
Snapped together alright, but then there's a just-enough-to-be-kinda-annoying amount of pilot hole drilling on the floor part and roof (you will need a power drill/driver for this). The roof doesn't sit entirely flush in the back and there's gaps at the back corners. Could be for ventilation but still weird. Important to know if you plan to face the back to the elements (I have mine against a wall). Mine came with two left doors but Rubbermaid made it right and sent the right door in two weeks when I contacted them through their website. (As for what I'll do with this extra door hanging around... eh...) As for the shed itself, it's good enough at keeping things dry where it is underneath the eave of our house. The depth is almost perfect but it's like an inch or two too shallow to put a wheelbarrow in it in any direction. Frustrating but I suspected this. (I almost bought one of those gray narrow door Chinese sheds with a million screws since they're the only 3-foot deep sheds anywhere but I chickened-out). The metal bar/rafter is a decent touch. The peaked roof design is sorta nice.
