Star Wars Lego Set 75045: Republic AV-7 Anti-vehicle Cannon

Probably the best of the big gun LEGO sets I've seen. It's very cool how the gun raises by turning a nob in the back. Comes with 4 characters. The set holds together very well when finished. And as always LEGO has by far the best instructions in the market. The only downfall is that it is a bit overpriced as far as LEGO's go. And that's probably due to it being a Star Wars item.

A good set for collectors of anything Star Wars and those interested in the Clone Wars Genre. Lego's sets on the Star Wars theme is always an interesting build.

Best gift for my nephew. He loves it and had it put together in 25 minutes.

I was very disappointed in the condition of the box when I received it. It was chewed up on the corners and taped shut. I was a little embarrassed to give it to my grandson.

Okay so the other day a few troopers and I were on patrol and look out duty. All these separatists came out and started stirring up trouble. I mean seriously, but hey I got to take out a transport with this baby. Great fun!!! Now to get back to pretending to be the reflection in Wolf's mirror... the guys love that prank! This set is a great set to have if you want to build your army up. I didn't like that the package was damage but it was defiantly on my list. You will want to buy this set now when it is at its lowest, but go for a used won because it is cheaper and comes in the same packaging value.

This set contains three minifigures, a Droideka mini-build and the Anti-vehicle cannon.The Plo Kloon minifig looks quite nice especially because of the head mold.The two Wolf Pack Clone troopers (both identical) look fantastic! Great printing on them, especially on their heads. The wolf logo , on their heads, looks amazing! Hope LEGO releases a Wolf Pack Clone trooper battle pack in the future!When I saw the Droideka in pictures and video reviews, it looked “meh” but after I assembled it, I realized it’s actually pretty cool!Coming to the main attraction of this set, the Anti-vehicle cannon. When I had seen the video review of this cannon, I didn’t like it much. But now, when I have it in front, it looks pretty amazing!! Arguably, it’s one of the best cannons that LEGO has ever made! Yes, it’s that good.It has a more mechanical look and feel to it than most LEGO cannons. That’s one of the appeals of this build. It’s four legs are quite flexible which is a good thing.The cannon can move up and down by rotating a knob at it’s back. Another good feature. But though it looks fantastic, it has a few flaws, namely:1) The cannon cannot rotate 360 degrees.2) The knob on it’s back (for moving the cannon up and down) is too long and it affects the look of the cannon. The length of the knob could have easily been reduced. Don’t understand why the designer had to make it so long.To wrap up, it’s a pretty good set. It’s something that would appeal not only to “Star Wars” fans but to people who like good-looking toys/cannons.

Great Christmas gift. My grandson loved it ! just enough of a challenge for him.
