Great Product
This is a great unit. My only complaint is that it won't play Blue Ray discs. Other than that. It works great. Almost out of the box, it played my VHS tapes. Now I must learn to record onto DVDs. Great product from a great sellerThanx..

Amazon replaced damaged product
Thank you Amazon, they replaced aToshiba DVR/VCR that was damaged & hadno Remote & no HDMI chord. I returned thedamaged machine the day that I received on(Dec. 26,2023).They were so kind to send me a replacement.Today, I received the replacement. It is sonice & looks brand new. Including in the box,were the Toshiba DVR/VCR, the remote control & the HDMI chord. Your company doesexcellent service & takes care of customerproblems. The machine works like a brand newone. Thank you so very much. By the way theitems were packed perfectly!I will continue ordering more products withAmazon. Thank you to your staff for such quickservice! God Bless you all🥰

Good Product
Works well but instructions for use were written to do things the opposite of how it actually needed to be done. Luckily we figured out out!

First Very Pleased with This Unit, But Ended Up Returning It
When I first submitted my review, I had not yet tested all of its features. On the plus side, aside from a few minor blemishes on the top of the unit which were not noticeable when placed in the entertainment cabinet, it arrived in very good condition. The remote control appeared to be brand new. Although I had not done any dubbing at that time, the VCR functions operated optimally. In addition, the unit arrived quite a bit ahead of the scheduled delivery date. I was very pleased so far.Update: When I tried to do a dubbing from VCR to DVD, I discovered that the DVD tray door would not open. Unfortunately, I had to return the unit.

Definitely worth the purchase...saved all our home movies!
Being older folks, it took a bit to figure out, but once we did, it was so easy to copy our vhs family movies to DVD! Pleased with our purchase! Did exactly what we hoped, arrived quickly and well packed for shipping

It gave a good dvd picture.
I haven't used it for a VHS tape and haven't attempted to record from VHS to DVD.

everything that was supposed to come was in the box except the manual came and works well.
came much earlier than expected haven't tried to record from vis to dvd yet , was in excellent condition
