LOVE my CLUGs!!
I have two CLUGs... a "MTB 44-57mm" for my bike with 2.1"W tires and a "MTB XL 58-69mm" for my 2.6"W tires. CLUGs make storage a breeze! Sooo much floor space saved!! And honestly it's super attractive storage - I enjoy seeing the bikes there. Snapping the front tires in place and popping them out is super easy. I did listen to the reviews that said not to place CLUGs in a high traffic area, because the bike can get knocked askew. This is true - but I wouldn't want it to lock onto my bike so hard that damage is caused if I then crash into the bike while walking or carrying something! The CLUGs work perfect in the corner of my room. They also mount very securely to the wall. Would've been a breeze to mount with two people... someone to hold the guide in place. Unfortunately I didn't have help, but it was still manageable. The box comes with an AWESOME guide built right in to help you place your screws into the right spot. I can't imagine not having CLUGs now that I've experienced them! It's such simple storage!! Gives bikes their own space without bumping against anything or tipping and getting damaged. Also, the upright storage position is good for suspension in the forks... GearHooks says it well here: "If the bike is stored vertically on the wall, the forks are tilted backwards. This means that the oil in the forks runs backwards and pools against the foam seals. This keeps the seals properly lubricated and stops them drying out." All in all these CLUGs are one of my favorite purchases ever!

MTB XL - Perfect fit for my Segway/Ninebot scooter
Probably not the intended application but works just fine. I've had it up for a couple months now, no issues. I didn't really like the price but, given that its the only option I could find, I suppose it's worth it. There was enough room under the clip to mount the charger (Velcro tape) which makes for a nice clean storage and charging station. The mount doesn't seem like much but its proven itself to be quite durable: I use the scooter several times a week so it gets plenty of use. Mounting was easy and straightforward. The wheel fits snug but not too tight.Very happy, just wish it was 10 bucks less...

Small and easy to install
I live in 400 sqft studio in santa monica where bike theft occurs every 0.5 seconds. Keeping your inside is essential and I am always looking for space saving ideas. Came across the Clug on pinterest and thought what a great idea. Easy to install with the guide but the unit itself is not drill friendly as its very narrow. I did use the anchors as I am installing into drywall but the unit was still a tad wobbly.I have a hybrid electric bike with fenders so I used a yoga block as a stopper since the bike was resting on the fender when the bottom wheel was resting flat on the wall. Still works just fine with the clug.Happy space saving!

Simple to install, seems to be holding
Super simple to install, just 2 screws (there's even a template for positioning, but we just used the bracket itself for placement). We mounted it on a stud in the tool shed so our son's mountain bike could be stored vertically and save us some space. We put it up yesterday and so far so good. Two things to note: the clip doesn't bear weight (which I knew from the product description, but it doesn't hurt to repeat), so don't expect it to get your bike up off the floor. The rear tire will be bearing the weight of the bike. The other thing - and this I didn't know until I tried putting the front tire of the bike on the clip - is that the whole process works best if you immobilize the front tire to the frame first so the handle bars/front part of the bike aren't pivoting as you're trying to put it in place. I was maneuvering in a small, enclosed space, so that may not be necessary for everyone. I used a velcro loop strap that we already had on hand.

Good concept but complete junk
These bike holders are cool in concept but the product itself is cheap junk and will most certainly break very quickly with moderate/consistent use.I think if you can find the sweet spot of your specific tire size married up with one of these products it has the potential to work for a while - but it’ll break, I guarantee it. I tried picking these up for my older sons to use in our garage - they ride mountain bikes without kick stands so some sort of bike storage system was desperately needed that was easy to use for them. Both of their bikes have “Plus tires” which are stated at 2.6” wide. I tried the MTB XL as well as the MTB standard CLUGS hoping one would work. The XL was way too big and the bikes wouldn’t stand up and the standard size was way too small - so much so that when I was able to force the wheel inside the CLUG, every other time the inner plastic piece would separate from the outer plastic piece. It was about 5 more repetitions from cracking and breaking for good. The plastic seems super brittle and while it seems thin enough to flex a bit, there’s no way these things are lasting more than a week especially with kids putting their bikes in and out.Bottom line is these may work temporarily for some users but if you plan to use them daily (meaning, bikes in and out constantly) don’t bet on them lasting very long.

Aesthetics are nice, function is just ok
When we moved to a new home I wanted to find a good solution for our bicycles in the garage, so I picked one of these up to give it a try.It works fine in general, but I have a few minor issues that would cause me to not buy any others:*If you bump into the bike it is likely to fall from the mount*you really need to keep your tires well inflated to avoid the bike falling on its own. Not a problem with bikes that are used often enough, but I have at least one that gets little use and this causes an issue.Note that I "fixed" these issues slightly by adding some velcro behind the strap around the wheel. This solution is a little bit of a pain and makes using the mount far less convenient than it could be.Given the cost of the CLUG, I will likely be using another solution, such as cheaper screw-in rubber coated hooks instead.
