ACL Surge Protector 1 Outlet 540 Joules with EMI/RFI filter, 1 Pack

I've had my portable radio on top of our kitchen fridge for some years, and have been irritated at the poor reception. Finally, it occurred to me to get a device to reduce the interference at the outlet. Yes, and it worked. 'Just sorry I waited so long to look into the solution!

Wish I read reviews first. The noise filter didn’t do a thing. I then bought another device with exact same frequency/db specs it killed the noise completely. Wow! What a fraud. Given this I probably wouldn’t trust its surge protection claims either.

This little guy seems to do the trick for some appliances when it comes to arc-fault nuisance tripping issues. I am an electrician and I have used this with some success to eliminate unwanted nuisance tripping on arc-fault protected circuits. (It cuts out unwanted noise or frequencies that might cause an arc-fault breaker to trip.) However, you should only use this product within it's rating or rated compacity. Do not exceed the product's rating! Otherwise, you could burn it up. And, make sure your appliance doesn't have an actual problem.... (If something you have plugged in causes an arc-fault breaker to trip maybe you shouldn't run or use it unattended just in case there is a real problem.)

Tried this product to see if it would solve the problem of my Brother printer repeatedly tripping an AFIC breaker. Maybe marginal improvement in tripping frequency, but definitely not a solution. Three months now and no trips!This review applies only to my experience with this application. From other reviews, it seems to work well in other situations.

Will not allow electric to even pass through... piece of crap, China man wins again. Don’t purchase. Amazon is just like E-Bay , supports bad vendors, they pay no attention to bad reviews. Money is the bottom line... Money grubbing is there Buisness....

I bought this to filter some ac noise from my stereo amplifier. There was zero improvement.

This product does not filter EMI at all. Don't bother buying this.
