I had to give it five stars. It sounds good and it looks like old tube radios I listened to as a child listening to lum and abner on mom's old zenith. I like how fbey put the usb up in too so it don't look modern. It looks way better in person than the pictures. Has three way power too. Batteries or rechargeable inside or plug it in the wall. Pretty good reception bit that's kind of recent to where you are when your using the radio. I live in a bad place for radio bit it works here. SW is good and that's what I wanted it for. The lighted dials are also nice. All in all I li k e it a lot. Update. I have a cell phone that doesent call but yet gets internet and I have an app called audio noir. It's all old time radio shows and with the blue tooth in this radio I can get it paired up and it's like listening to radio when I was a kid ! If your wondering about this set quit and get you one! You'll love it

This is one of those things that you see and wonder if it is really any good based on the price.This one is!It has really good sound and looks great.It has a rechargeable battery as well as an included charging / operating AC cord (In back of the unit).I really love this thing.As a side note - Beside having the normal AM and FM reception, which are both good, it has short wave.The SW picks really good even using the telescoping antenna on th eunit.The USB MP3 works great as well.Try it - You will love it.

I am a very experienced collector of radios. This radio has one of the most sensitive AM/FM receivers I have seen. The short wage is excellent too. I get stations during the day more than at night (this is dependent on the SW bandwidth). I get every single AM/FM station from all over.The dials light up blue and there are red lights that flicker as the sound is louder. It’s a nice touch. The sound isn’t the very best I have heard, but it’s very good. It has a deep, warm, rich quality that many vintage radios have. It’s well-made and I love it!

Great sound and look and so great to not have to buy batteries !

This is an updated review; my previous review was four stars but now it is revised to one star because the built-in rechargeable battery failed within a matter of months. I bought two radios and in both radios the batteries are dead and will not take a charge. i contacted the seller and they feigned a good song and dance, but the result was essentially "too bad, so sad." Without the rechargeable battery this is just a plug-in radio, and there are better plug-in radios to be had for the money.

Sound quality is about what you would expect from a pocket transistor radio. I think the speaker in my phone might be better. It is portable and light. Haven't used it long enough to know about how long a charge lasts. The instructions are vague, there's a Mode button on the front of the device, I couldn't find that mentioned in the instructions. This unit is probably best suited for listening to a sporting event while out in the yard or on a picnic. If it had been 10 dollars more, I might have returned it but for the price, you probably couldn't ask for any better. Edited: I ended up returning it. The sound quality was just too poor.

Great product , Really like the features especially the fact you can plug unit into power outlet to charge internal battery, or operate in this form too .
