Versatile.
I bought this for the versatility. I have the Geddy Lee pedal and love it. It has a warm growl that just works. But this SH pedal has the ability to completely change your sounds on the fly. Every pedal ever made should have this Bite button. Two channels let you have the same settings with more or less volume and gain for each. I even use it at church because it creates a fuller, cleaner sound than just an amp. Best purchase in a while.

Very glad I got it
I've tried my share of pedals and effects for guitar and bass and ended up returning them over time. I was skeptical of this one but I decided to get it. I'm very impressed with it. First off, I love Iron Maiden and Steve Harris is my main inspiration for playing bass and this gives me exactly what I want to capture his sound. I play a regular Fender P bass with factory pic-ups, 105-45 Rotosound strings with a low action and this makes it sound just like it does on the songs. It comes with very clear instructions with a guide for other tones like Geezer Butler and Cliff Burton, (my other two favorites) and mimics their sound well to. I highly recommend anyone who is an Iron Maiden fan and wants that sound.

Love the sound
The Steve Harris pedal is subtle, but awesome. This pedal produces great Steve Harris and Geddy Lee style of sound. Retains the low end, while adding a nice pop and slight gain to the high end. I created a setting to match that of David Ellefson from Megadeth using a pick by listening to his isolated bass tracks. If you are expecting a crazy distortion, whacky bass effects peddle, this is not it. This peddle is for people who really want to dial in their sound.Only con is my tin came bent from Amazon. I can't close it or use it which I am pretty bummed about.

It's much more versatile than I thought, it's great!
It is so compact that it fits my pedal board perfectly.

Excellent pedal!
It does it’s job! Lots of tones. The dials are very sensitive and you can change your sound with a slight touch. The High dial especially. I can get Geddy, Geezer, Steve Harris tone easily with this. It sounds amazing, and it’s loud and powerful. Works amazing as a DI as well. It’s a tone machine. Smaller size too, so it doesn’t take up half your board. Definitely recommend this.

Bite Switch Added A Lot Of Noise
Very versatile; loads of potential. The bite switch I found to be very noisy with all of my basses. I couldn’t use that feature; couldn’t justify spending the money on something I couldn’t use 100%. Opted to return it. I have a V1 Sansamp BDDI that still satisfies.

Any Iron Maiden fan must have if you play bass
Just awesome. My husband is a 30+ year bass player and this is one of his favorite pieces of equipment now.
