Waited for replacement for over 11 months. Frustrating support experience
I bought the Jazzy Air 2 in December of 2019. The switch to raise and lower the chair did not work from day one. There is a way to use the controls to do this, but the switch arrived DOA. The wheelschair lift system broke in February, and was able to send a technician out to try any fix. Parts were ordered, and over 7 months later, still waiting for those parts to arrive and install. This power chair is completely worthless without the lift system, and Pride not replacing the entire thing and making someone with a disability wait for parts is shameful. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of affordable options in power wheelchairs, so beware buying a Jazzy Air 2 if you don't have a backup. So disappointed in this purchase, as I have no idea if it will ever get fixed. Still waiting for parts and latest update says they may arrive in September. I'll update this review if and when the power chair ever gets fixed.Update: End of September and no part, no calls, still a broken power chair. This is now going over 7 months without any sense of urgency from Pride to get this fixed. As a person with a disability who relies on these mobility aides, I can say steer clear of any Pride powerchairs. Still have no update on this and if it will ever get fixed. Simply terrible support.October Update: After reaching out to Pride directly, they finally got the service tech to call and set up a time to come service the chair. They didn't want to do it at my house, so they came and picked up the chair on October 13th. I got a call a few hours later saying the they couldn't fix the chair with the replacement parts that were ordered, and had to order some additional replacement parts. So, the chair still doesn't work, and no timeline when the new parts will arrive. This is just a running joke n how not to deal with your customers. A replacement chair should have been sent months and months ago. So disappointed, again.November Update: Still no update on the replacement parts. I called the technician to see if he had an update, and the number was disconnected.December Update: Still no update on replacement parts. I ordered the wheelchair on 12/3/19, and it worked for a few months before breaking. Let that sink in, as something that is suppose to be under warranty, this has been broken for over 8 months. Being disabled is challenging enough without having the deal with medical equipment companies that do not stand behind their products, or can't get them fixed.December 22 Update: They came to pick up the wheelchair today and attempt the repair. The parts that arrived were damaged, and new parts are now needed to be ordered. Another disappointment. I called the reseller, and even Pride to complain once again that I'd have to wait to get the needed parts. The tech called me back and escalated this up the service chain at Pride, and it sounds like they will be finally replacing the wheelchair. No info yet on when, but let's hope the replacement works. This saga may be over soon.January 22 Update: No word on replacement wheelchair. It's been a month since they said they would replace it. Ugh.February 24th Update: Finally got a replacement power chair. It was almost a full year to get this resolved, and hopefully this new chair has no issues. I wouldn't recommend buy Pride, and won't be a repeat customer.

Test drive before you buy
Pride changed the angle mount for the arm rest and it is impossible to pull the arms tight to the seat back. Ours has a 20" seat and going through 30" doorways is extremely difficult because of the new mount. They also changed the hinge for the seat back and there is a large gap between the seat back and the seat bottom resulting in a poor fit for my back. The chair is fairly large and sits high, even in the down position. For the price, I would have expected more from Pride.

Disappointing performance and support
The chair worked great for just over a year so not under warranty. We called manufacturer and they gave us authorized tech to call. They were out of business (why doesn’t Pride have a current list of people who can work on these?) but we found another authorized guy in town. After 2 days and $120 he did nothing to fix the beeping and slow speed issues. We are at a loss of what to do.Please let us know if anyone has had these issues or how to remedy.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!!
Not a reputable dealer. Spent $4000 on this product and they are simply a middle man from Pride Mobility. Purchased for my mother and it will not fit through her bathroom doors in her home. This seller will do nothing to accommodate us. We are simply out of luck and stuck with a 4000 dollar chair we cannot use. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE research before you buy and stick with someone with a showroom and more than a cell phone who is a “dealer”!Do not buy from GATESCO!!
