The Official John Wayne 5-Ingredient Homestyle Cookbook: Simple Recipes and Heartfelt Stories from Duke's Family Kitchen Paperback – August 25, 2020

This cookbook would make a great gift, coffee table book, or conversation piece. I would consider this something you would buy because you are a John Wayne fan or a fan of Westerns although the recipes are pretty good. The book is well made and I really enjoyed looking through it and trying a few of the recipes.

Cookbooks, I have tons. Old ones, new ones, easy ones, quick ones but THIS one is a favorite if not THE favorite. 5-Ingredient recipes, so they are all easy and very very good. I've already made several things and the book rarely gets put away and stays on the counter. Having to cook watching gluten, many of these are GF, and if they're not, it's an easy adjustment as there are so few ingredients. The food is old-fashioned greatness ..but timeless. So far, anything I've made is a huge hit. If you're not hungry, you soon will be thumbing through the fabulous photos. I love this book so much I've bought it for family members. You won't be sorry you get this one ...just know it will be your "Go-To" for meals.

I love this cookbook, and my brother and sis-in-law had to have one too as they thumbed through mine. I gave them mine and ordered another one! Just lots of simple, tasty, Western fun recipes. Great for when you want to show up somewhere with something tasty you've just made!

Easy to follow recipes and they taste great. My only complaint is that the binding sucks, as the pages are falling out after a few uses. I am going to try to drill holes and put them in a binder.

i purchased this for a spoiled family member who, until now, always complained about cooking his own food. he's also a cheapskate. so this book is perfect for him. he's not spending a fortune on ingredients and can now cook himself some decent meals. now i don't have to listen to him whine about being hungry because he doesn't know how to feed himself ...and that in itself is priceless!

Purchased this for my husband, he loves this cookbook, especially since the food items are in color which is a big plus. Plus many interesting dishes, and pictures of John Wayne in and out throughout the book. Great purchase.
