Well packaged, delivery updates were well informed. Wrapped with protective films for the glossy finish. The cabinet was made of sturdy solid fibreboard panels, with glossy front facing doors, drawer and cabinet top. The back boards (inside only) and interior were matte white/melamine finish. There is one white shelf in each cabinet and a glass shelf (not cheap acrylic you sometimes get) in the centre above the drawer. Screwed on plastic feet were provided to the base. Easy to build, mostly CAMs/screws/dowels & cabinet hinges - approx 30-45mins. Overall very good product for the price. If I was nitpicking, I would say the wires to the LED controller/ infrared sensor was a little short, and so tricky to position it well for the remote to pick it up. I found the centre shelving is the best position. I also have thicker/longer piles type of carpet, so the plastic feet sunk down once I mount my TV on the stand and the doors were hard to open. This was not a problem as I intended to raise the unit on 2x4s to give a floating look. If you have hard flooring or thinner piles carpet, the original plastic feet would not be an issue. There are no door knobs/catches that came with the unit, so added some spare chrome knobs and magnetic catches, a small upgrade that improved the premium feel. I was very happy with the overall result - thanks to a very good seller.

There were two instances where I had to do the opposite of what they manual suggested because it was actually easier. Adding a little context to the pictures can help a lot2. The screws and other parts (not including the main woods and glass for the assembling the table) should also have come labelled just like the boards were labelled with numbers. It could have saved me 30mins to 1hr in assembly timeOverall it was a good experience and would recommend.

First off I would like to say my delivery came earlier than Amazon advertised. For some this maybe a good thing, but if you are ordering with plans around your schedule this maybe an issue.Someone from Elegant showers did contact me a day before to let me know of the delivery, and the driver rang about 15 minutes before he arrived, so at least I wasn't left in the dark.Delivery comes in two packages, and all items are packaged well, everything was secure and free of damage. All the gloss items also have a protective film on them to prevent any scuffs during transport and assembly and the glass shelf came with extra packaging to prevent breakage.Assembly, was quite easy, taking roughly an hour and halve to complete, though the instructions are only just adequate, and some may struggle to follow them. I found all screw holes were drilled as expected, and fastening all secured fine, no mismatches or loose fittings.I was actually quite impressed with how the LED strip fits (see image). I have had items before where you get these cheap strips (this is also a cheap strip) where they simply rely on the sticky back adhesive to secure and a week later they are falling off. This furniture item though, has the same sticky back, but the strip also fits into a milled groove, and its a nice snug fit, I believe that with the adhesive alone would have kept the strip secure, but they also go one step further and it has two screw in braces either side of the strip... it isn't going anywhere! So bonus points there.I purchased this stand as a side board and display cabinet for my dining area, plenty of storage space, and a nice little light up area for displaying items on a glass shelf. The two shelves in the side cupboards can be mounted on one of three mounting holes, so you could have two shelves at one side, or a short and tall shelf, handy for storing some nice bottles of single malt, or if using as a tv stand plenty of space for, remotes or joypads, and games etc.All in a all a great cabinet, easy to build, if they could just add a bit more detail and definition to the instructions it would be even better.

Once it's together it looks ok . The instructions are usless and not very clear .after having to drill better holes for the screws it finally went together really is worth alot less for what you get

Stunning as per the picture. I so love this. Took a while to self build as instructions not very clear. BUT end result off the hook , well worth buying. Look it, so classy .

We bought two of these, they are lovely. They are easy to build and Look good. But after a month one of the cabinets light started to fail. I emailed them, got no reply. Tried emailing again, sending a photograph of the problem, they finally replied asking for the Amazon Order number. I replied straight away, heard nothing. I telephoned 4 times got cut off every time. I didn't want a new cabinet but would have liked a replacement faulty light strip. Their website says they have got Managers waiting for your call, they weren't there for my call. I emailed again through Amazon and nothing. Basically if something goes wrong they are not interested. Woulrecommend this company.
