My dog has not had kibble in such a long time. I was going through the trouble of making her food. I tried Justfoodfordogs and Instinct Raw Frozen/Raw Dehydrated. I felt like I was spending a fortune to keep my dog fed and she would always eventually tire of each food. I’ve realized she does need change but I have been really happy to discover this brand of dog food. Their 4 lb bag is the perfect size. It’s just enough to keep my dog interested in the food. I think she’s on her 2nd or 3rd bag of kibble (different flavors each time) and she still eats it with enthusiasm. I did have mix it with wet food from a different brand because she did start to throw it up when I would give it to her dry. My dog is very old and has had pancreatitis in the past, so I don’t attribute it to the dog food brand. Between their kibble and dehydrated food, my dog prefers to the kibble. It smells like a doggie cookie.

Keep coming back to this because my small doggo loves it. She recently had a different brand and had a lot of trouble with it, and when we returned to this one, she was settled and has had no issues. She must enjoy the taste and the quality seems good.

My dog really enjoys this food, especially the chicken flavor. I cook fresh protein for him and add fruit or other toppings, so this bag lasts me a while, making it a good value for the price. The kibble looks well-made, and when I add water to soften it, I can actually see pieces of carrots, which makes me feel like it’s staying true to the ingredients which area clean and healthy. He hasn’t had any stomach issues or bad reactions, so I feel good about feeding it to him. Overall, this is a great option, and I’d definitely recommend it!

I use this in my dogs snuffle mat and he goes crazy for it. It keeps him entertained for a little while. If I decide to just pull out a few cubes and give as a treat, I make sure a lay out a few cubes for the cat as well. The cat enjoys it just as much as my pup. Great quality too.

I like the product and purchased it several times but I've gotten tired of finding a large pile of dust at the bottom of the bag. I don't know if it's not being properly handled on the Amazon end but I'm not purchasing it here again.

I was hesitant to transition to new dog food, but the dog food I was feeding my boys was out of stock everywhere in stores and online for months at a time, and that inconsistency pushed me to find new food. After much research, I decided to try The Honest Kitchen because of their statements and commitment to making exceptional dog food with the highest quality ingredients. They have had only one recall in 2013, which tells the optimistic version of myself that they take quality control very seriously.I have two small breed dogs; one can eat anything without being bothered, while my other baby is much more sensitive and must be cautious when eating new things. After two weeks into the transition process for my sensitive boy, I was concerned that maybe this food wouldn't work for him, but I'm glad that we stuck it out. Both dogs LOVE mealtime and lick up every last bit of food on this new diet.For what it's worth: My dogs eat a 50/50 blend of kibble and homemade chicken/veggies/etc. for all meals. Even with their yummy homemade blend, they would leave leftover food in their bowls with the previous kibble. Not anymore. They really love this new food! I'm pleasantly surprised.My one gripe is that the kibble seems a little too big for small dogs that weigh 15 lbs or less. I'm not a scientist or veterinarian; this is just my opinion. I always add hot water to their food to soften the kibble.

It seemed like a good “fresh” dog food but my fussy doggo didn’t care for it much and it got fungus in a couple of weeks in the fridge so I don’t think I’ll buy again.. or maybe a different flavor may work. I’ll update if I do try again
