Excellent quality
Many reviews stated that there was a lot of fiberglass fibers in the bag. Maybe that is corrected, mine is perfect (Sept. 2024, ordered two spears). Everything is nicely made and finished, nice stainless steel parts, I am very pleased.

Great product.
Bought this to help remove invasive goldfish from a private lake in michigan. It worked like a dream. Only advice is id twist it 3/4 turn before letting go. Seemed to help make the shot strainer and more accurate. It took 4 tries and I got my first goldfish in 2ft of water from a boat.

Covered in fiberglass splinters
Screws together easily and is sturdy. The bad: comes covered in fiberglass splinters. I opened mine in my bathtub with gloves on and washed it. Also, the hole at the top wherein you insert the rubber band, it wasnt drilled properly so I finished it with my drill. This spear is what youd expect for the price.

Perfect for Travel
Bought one of these for dive trip to Jamaica. Fit's well in checked bag along with other dive gear. Recommend purchase of a shocker tip also sold on Amazon Dive boat had several of these spear poles equipped that way.

Fiber glass slivers!
I haven’t used this product yet, but the storage/travel bag that it came with was full of fiber glass slivers and now my hands are full of fiber glass slivers. I threw the bag away. The rest of the product seems alright so far, so I’ll give it three stars for now. May adjust once I use it.

Rubber sling defective
One of the most important parts to be able to use the it and the rubber sling is defective. Disappointing and frustrating!! Guess I'll use a fishing rod... What's up with having to shove the string in an unfinished fiberglass hole? Will probably spend the extra money for better quality next time.
