I bought this for my 2 year old for Christmas, he loves to push the train around. It is a bit advanced for him yet but it is aged 3+ so I expected that. My 4 year old really enjoys it and will play with it for hours. He likes to take the track apart and rebuild it. It's very good quality and it's fantastic that it all stores away into its own box so it's easy to take along to relatives houses etc. I think we'll add to this for my youngest's third birthday. It'll last for years, even my 9 year old has had a few plays with it.

Study wooden train set

I chose this as it comes in its own storage box so it’s easy to store and less likely that pieces will get lost. I’ve noticed that the price can vary a lot - I paid £23. It’s a shame the expansion pack doesn’t come in a similar box.

Price is right

The plastic parts are very flimsy, the bridge support snapped after a very short time.

Easy to assemble

I brought this a few weeks ago in advance of my toddlers birthday this week. Arrived on time, sealed etc - it’s Saturday today, so we decided to open and build it this morning, that’s when it went downhill.. the instructions are a one pager in black and white, so it took me a while to realise that we were in fact missing one red bridge.At first I thought that perhaps the 3 year old had taken off with it and put it somewhere, a search ensued of his typical hiding places (of which there are many.), next I reasoned that my 6 year old had succumbed to jealousy and taken it (he does that occasionally) he didn’t take the accusation well and is still not talking to me ... by now the birthday boy had well and truly lost all patience and was starting to get a bit aggressive. That’s when I decided that there MUST SURELY be another way to build this track, or maybe I read it wrong and there isn’t a bridge .. a long while later I was numb from sitting on the floor rearranging and then rearranging the pieces again, whilst the toddler repeatedly climbed over me or the track or both, messing it up, and causing me injury, I finally came to the realisation that I was really missing and did need the bridge, it could not have been in the box and there is not one single alternative way to build a complete track without it. To summarise; I lost £40 and half a day of my life, disappointed two kids, put us all off train tracks for life, sustained personal injury and assault from a toddler and I do not recommend this product.
