Seeing Life Through Rose Coloured Glass
With a worldwide energy hike it is nice to know there are ingenious methods of getting around heat loss during the winter. I first read up on the theory of putting a couple of layers of bubble wrap on your windows in the chilly months to keep the heat in and preventing heat loss escaping 'through the cracks' - as it does - and warming up the panes of glass via an article written by a woman in North Dakota. I thought I'd try it. When your view isn't much to look out at (crisscrossing cars and the flotsam and jetsam of pedestrians) I decided I could live without that, and therefore, on went the bubble wrap. Last year I tried clear bubble wrap, and it worked so well that this year I decided to colour it up a bit, and as pink is the 'happy' colour - (and who doesn't like looking at life through rose coloured glasses?) I changed it up a notch. The sun shines through and the cheery pink shade is warming - from the outside and inside. A few tips though: Cut your bubble wrap so that it is approximately 1cm over the edges to your pain. Spread water over the protruding bubble side and place this side straight onto your window using a cloth to make sure all sides are spread over the window evenly and the bubble wrap is fastened to the window, thus well sealed. Repeat this procedure once or twice more with another layer on top of the first - for extra coverage and warmth. You'll find with the right amount of water spread over your wrap it will maintain its fastening to the window. If you find you do need a little help from your pal Mr Adhesive Tape, you can always stick all the sides down using (preferably) clear tape. You can still open your windows whenever you want/need to, it's only keeping the pane of glass warm, not preventing you from air when you need it. My heating bills have been cut in half by doing this, and I don't miss the riffs and raffs wandering the streets below one bit.

COLOUR IS GREAT! Rips/tears easily tho 👀
The media could not be loaded. The colour is great! I’m happy with how vibrant the pink is so far, I haven’t used it yet but when it arrived it came how it looks in the photos. When you touch the bubble wrap it is quite thin... keep that in mind if you want to get the £9.99 (which is the one I got) as this may not be enough for a lot of products over time. It looks cute and I’m chuffed with it so far, if my packages don’t get damaged I will 10000% buy a bigger roll next time 😁

Not quite what is advertised
Arrived very badly packaged, it was just wrapped in some paper which was ripped all over, but maybe not their fault..The product itself s not as "pink" as shown. Its a lot paler and closer to pastel/clear.A lot of the bubbles were also flat. So i have to use double/triple the amount to be safe.

Fab colour!
Fab colour! A little bit stretchy and tricky to cut with scissors but such a gorge colour I didn’t care! (Plus l was trying to speed-wrap a ton of glass ware & crockery before moving out of my flat and was on a time scale so was probably snatching my scissors at it somewhat!!) Would buy again. One of my friends said “Where did you find pink bubble wrap?!” …..My reply…..”Amazon of course!” ;D

Adequate
Get what you pay for & this didn’t cost much.Knew from other reviews that it was a bit thin, but sounded good enough for the price - it is.Only got their word for the length, since it’s a single, unlabelled, unwrapped roll - I’m not unravelling it to measure it!To be pedantic it’s 290mm wide, not 300.
