Perfect size, well made and finished. My 3 year old loves it! It feels like a toy with a good quality it does not feel or look cheap made. Also still looks like the old time slinky dog.

My kids absolutely love this Slinky Dog. I have three boys who are 5, 3, and 2, and, needless to say, they are extremely hard on toys. But Slinky Dog has held up! When I see him laying on the floor on his side, I imagine him coming to life after we’ve walked away and complaining to Mr. Potato Head (which we also have) that the boys need to be more gentle!

We have bought 3 of these for Easter gifts but one was given to one of the children early, I can say this HE LOVES IT... I can't wait for the other 2 kids receive their's and experience what my children experienced with these slinky weiner dogs years ago. Nothing like bringing your childrens childhood into their childrens childhood, memories for a lifetime.. Who doesn't want a slinky weiner dog to follow behind you for hours on end...

So when I received slinky, I was excited, as a collector, spesific editions and labels probably mean more to me than a child that wants to play with it, so it was a bit disappointing for me to find out the box is not the 75th anniversary label box as shown in the items page photos, amazon did send me a replacement, came in a bad condition but also no 75th anniversary label.Which leads me to beleive the are no more boxes of this production and the next orders will be as shown in the pic from my review, if you are a collector who these things are important to him/her, just know it.To the practical matters: I love slinky, always have, and the toy itself is rather cool, although quality could be better for the ears material, but I guess it's understood for this price pointI don't however think this is a suitable toy for an 18 month old toddler as stated on the box, the slinky could easily get stretched and it is rather easy to ruin,also you need to be a bit sensitive when you pull it cause it is not very stable and a toddler still might not have the coordination for it , I would say maybe 3 year olds and up would benefit from this toy as a play thing more than 1.5 year olds.Overall, a bit disappointed about the 75th anniversary label but slinky is cool, nostalgic and fun with tons of history behind it , and if you are not fanatic about boxes like me, I recommend grabbing one.Still gave it 4 stars for the fuzzy feeling I get from looking at it as a toy story fan when I was a kid and until today.

Super high quality toy. My husband remarks on how he loves that there is a string inside the slinky portion that keeps it from going out too far and getting ruined.
