Pleasant Surprise
The matcha I typically buy is not available so I took a chance on this one. Wow, what a great substitute! It tastes great and actually costs less than the matcha I typically buy. I’m sticking with this one!

Exceptional quality
I am trying to eat more organic this year and I have to say this is one of the highest quality matchas I have had. Although there is a lot of matcha on the market it is harder to find high quality organic matcha made in Japan. Senbird is one of the best. The taste is sublime (earthy, slightly sweet, with a fragrant aroma) since it is made in Japan using the traditional process. This is high quality ceremonial grade, not the dusty flavor you might find at a lot of health food stores. I would recommend this to people that drink loose leaf and high quality teas and have developed a discerning palette to taste the difference. It is expensive, but with a small ladle it last a little over a month. I will definitely buy it again when I have the money (I have expensive tastes >_< ;)

So Fresh, So Clean!
I've been buying the "Everyday Matcha" from Costco for years and have been thinking what a great value it is. I did a little reading on green teas, which led me to a website that taste tested a few brands of matcha. Senbird won so I decided to give it a try. What a difference! Its hard to describe but the Senbird Matcha just tastes more alive. Its not cheap, but its the first thing I taste in the morning and I've decided its important to start the day on a delicious high note.

High-Quality, Affordable, and Versatile Matcha
I have been looking for a quality matcha powder to use in baking and craft cocktails. Most of the matcha I had used before was really starting to break the bank, so I when I was referred to Senbird by a colleague, I was thoroughly surprised and impressed to find such a high-quality product that lives up to the ceremonial grade rating without breaking the bank. I almost felt bad using it to make just bread rolls! The powder was extremely easy to blend and I could smell the freshness the moment I cracked open the pouch. As some of the other reviews mention, the taste profile is a bit bitter, but as someone who is a fan of bitter taste profiles, it worked really well for me, especially since I have been using in baking primarily. Whether you are matcha addict or a newcomer, I recommend giving Senbird a try.

Delicious!
I ran out of my usual matcha and saw this brand recommended by someone on social media. I know, I know, these people are paid to promote the items but it takes the guessing game out of finding something new and why not at least try it? Well I’m glad I did! This matcha is so tasty and lasted me three weeks (I put about 1.5 teaspoons in lattes every morning). I like the canister and the idea of receiving a discount once if you reuse it when ordering again. My only thing is that it didn’t blend as well as my other matcha, and I use an electric hand whisk. I also don’t sift the matcha first so maybe that makes the difference? Either way, it’s a great replacement when I don’t have my usual brand and I will buy again!
