3M 2090 0.125in X 60yd Masking Tape (1 Roll)

Worked great. I wanted pin striping tape for a clay project, and this worked out fine. It is easy to manipulate, and even move if needed, plus when my project had dried, the tape came off without messing up my project.

This tape has the elusive good adhesion + easy, damage-free removal. In the first photo, I tested with wet on dry on the left and wet on wet on the right. There’s a tiny bit of a breach on one of the lines on the wet on wet side, but I purposefully flooded the paper with water, causing it to pool and I could have secured the tape better, so even with water pooled up before paint is added you can easily get perfectly clean lines. Tape didn’t budge at all or curl up at the ends and unlike other tapes that have good adhesion, it did not tear the paper or leave any residue once removed. Using my fingernail, the end of the strip easily came up and the tape came off smoothly without damaging the paper. It’s a good amount of tape, especially for the price and it is very thin. There were some waves in the cardboard ring holding the tape and one wave in the roll itself that could have happened during shipping (it was in a plastic shipping bag inside of a thin bubble mailer). Because it’s so thin it can be bent like a sheet of cardboard but I didn’t take off any for this because it didn’t affect the tape in any way. Overall, it’s perfect for my needs, is a good price for the length of the roll, and came in a timely manner. Would definitely purchase again.

I had 1/8" parts on my turbo cartridge that needed to be taped off and this tape worked perfect for the task. The adhesion was a little lacking, but what can you expect for a strip of tape that 1/8" wide.

I bought this tape to experiment with glaze techniques in pottery. This is a great thickness and allows for a lot of fun designs. The one drawback to it being so thin is that it tears pretty easily so it is a little fragile (especially compared to detailing vinyl tape. But I'm glad I have both because each have their pros/cons. This was really effective on bisque ware.

I did not realize upon buying that this was about the same thickness as..regular yarn. It doesn’t stick well. If you’re looking for something very thin, then this is perfect for you.

It's masking tape and the shipping was great.

Just cut your own pieces. This rips easily. It looks like the roll was just sliced by someone to resell. Unsure if the maker actually markets them this small.
