Streit's Unsalted Matzo, 11 Ounce (Pack of 4)

This came very fast and is delicious! They are the last remaining family owners in America.

I didn't want to buy 5 boxes at once, but all of the stores near me no longer carry this brand. They are my favorite. They are just the right thickness with a little salt. I butter them and eat them. I'am into my second box already. They are great for breakfast or later in the day with a cup of coffee.

Excellent matzo. Not as dry as some. Great for cooking 'matzo brie' or eating with a spread of cream cheese or butter. I'm glad I was able to buy this on Amazon. It is getting harder and harder to find plain matzo of any brand in the local supermarkets.

The product was fine but the delivery slow.

Growing up in Brooklyn, Streit's was always the preferred brand of matzoh on my old school parents' table. My dad had some every night with dinner to remind him of his childhood. It's been very hard to find outside of NYC, and impossible to get at the grocery stores in my very non-Jewish area. I was thrilled to find it available via Amazon. Light and crisp the way it should be, with all natural ingredients. One downside: shipping is high. Wish Amazon would ship it directly so I can take advantage of the Prime discount. UPDATE, APRIL 1, 2012: Amazon has started offering prime, and a VERY reasonable price, making this the ultimate true matzoh lover's dream come true. Thank you, Amazon!!!! PRIME ROCKS!

My childhood Episcopal Minister, Father Mitchell, forged an agreement with the Rabbi of a nearby Temple so that both congregations would learn about each other. As a result I learned about the Jewish faith and I learned to love Matzo. Streit's are the best. However, Amazon shipped the boxes without putting them in a shipping box so I have unleavened bread crumbs instead of whole, flat, matzos. Shame on Amazon.

It showed a package of 4 and I only received one package.

I expected broken crushed and stale. I got whole, not damaged, fresh. Not easy to find in many places. Matzoh Brei even when it isn't Passover! Yum!
