Amazing this thing works.
This thing is amazing. I had a clog in my laundry room I have been fighting for a week. Sand with soap scum mixed in is the only thing I could describe this clog. I have cast iron pipes so I am always hesitant to use liquid drain cleaner. Run the straight end down first to clear out anything in front of it. It has a rounded head so it is easier to make it around clogged corners. Then clean the rest of the pipe with the rotary works like a champ.

Prepare for poopy situations
Was having issues with drainage and I bought this to flush the drains. This allowed me to find out the electric company drilled through my pipes. Ran a camera and too pictures. Now I got new pipes. Product worked great and was easily converted to use with the pressure washer I had.

Works perfectly
I had a clogged drain line for washing machines at work. I used a drain snake but it didn't work. I used thus with my pressure washer and it worked perfectly. The only 2 issues I found was that the hose kinked on me twice leaving a mark where in the future it would kink again and the other issue is leakage from the connection points. The leak seems to be easily fixable with better Teflon tape or tighter fittings.I recommend a hose reel for this so your not taking a long time to wind and unwind the entire hose. After I purchased a hose reel for this hose I kept running into the hose kinking on me several times when I'm trying to roll up the hose. Even the connection point from the hose reel to the sewer jet hose would kink as soon as I would wind the hose. It is a little annoying that I have to unwind the entire 100 feet of hose and then roll it back into the hose reel to avoid most kinks.Overall I still like this product and for the price you can't beat it. It does clean out my drain which is the most important aspect.

I honestly didn't know what to expect trying this on a commercial restaurant main to the grease trap. I would say these are easier to work if you start from the grease trap toward the facility. I was able to get it through a 2" P-trap for a floor sink! It also did fine on a 4" drain going from my grease trap. Making the first turn wasn't very difficult. We ran into blockages right away. And you kind of have to work your way through them, a good technique is to loop the hose and twist to help it move along. If you watch some videos on youtube, you will see that the heads tend to favor a side so it's not going to run down the middle of the pipe but along one side of the pipe. So you need to keep doing the twist technique. We spent a lot of time on this, and we kept seeing new stuff come out. First we only got through maybe 10 feet, but eventually got to over 30 feet. You just have to keep working the line. In the end it's a dirty job. Watching the videos on Youtube help you to understand what's going on in the line since you can't see it. I wish I would have tried the other nozzle that had a forward shooting tip but I only tried the spinning nozzle and I'd say it did a pretty good job. It made me realize that the plumber I had using a snake was hardly cleaning the pipes. The drain has not been hydrojetted in the 13 years of owning the restaurant so I'm sure we took out what seemed like buckets of chunks and sediment. The parts seem decent. I was very concerned at how much the hose was kinking when I was stretching it out. But when it's pressurized it's a different story. I used this on a Husqvarna electric pressure washer from Costco and it performed better than expected. I'm sure my gas pressure washer would have done a better job but we were doing all of this stuff late at night and the electric was nicely quiet. I'll say also at $50 for this kit, it's cheaper than hiring a plumber. I paid $650 for an idiot plumber that didn't know to start from the grease trap and he did absolutely NOTHING. You could buy a new waterjet kit each time you have to do maintenance and save a bundle.

Worked as advertised; Good quality.
We've got a 1940's built cottage home with a basement and an old exterior drainage drain just outside the basement door which is at a low point in the back of the home. For all the years I've owned the home it has never really drained very well, but it was in an area that only saw limited water so I've just never really made it a priority. Recently we built out our back yard and installed a large patio. The result was some new water draining to that crusty old drain that doesn't really drain much faster than packed soil would. I tried a conventional snake with no success, just turned up a bunch of dirt and rock and did nothing more. I honestly had no idea where the drain lead too. I don't know if it just dumps into a rock basin buried nearby or if it actually drains into the sewer waste line which is near that area. After reading the reviews of the Ridge Washer Jetter kit, I decided I'd give it a try. It fit my pressure washers standardized connector. I used the ball end fitting, pushed the line down the drain as far as I could which was about 10". I turned on the water and fired up the pressure washers. Using an in/out motion I was surprised that I quickly got another 12" - 18" of progress. I continued pushing in and out and continued to feed more line. While doing this the water was backing up out of the drain slowly and beginning to pool around the drain, but the line was making good progress with the same pushing in and out. Now I'm about 12 feet down the drain pipe and I'm just about ready to turn it off because the pool of water around the drain is now getting rather large. However just as I was about to shut down pool of water suddenly dropped and began rushing down the drain! Wow!! I then continued to run the hose line up and down the drain pipe hoping to really get it cleaned out. All the water was now going down freely. The blockage was years of dirt, rocks and pebbles backing up and then turning to hard mud from those years of getting soaked but not really draining. I was at about 12' when it broke free. This is a great tool and I know I will be using it again.
