One of those things you don’t realize you need until you try it! :D
Boy, I really had to bite the bullet on this one eeks. This product was on sale during prime day. I liked the discount and wished it would at least be that price always instead of the current $15 bc I would buy them for my other cords and also give them away as gifts! But alas, I just bought one pack of three.Although I am a fan of apple iPhone white, I bought this item in black to match the black interior of my vehicle and my black work dell computer.IN MY CAR:I have a USB outlet in my center console box which has an opening for cords management. However, the cord doesn’t stay where you want it and instead has to be held to the opening while the console box is closed.Enter this product. I used one of the three just outside the opening of the console (see pic of purple/grey/blue cord wrap) and another unit to the left of my vehicle’s start button. The two work well in these locations and now I don’t worry about the cord getting in the way! Yay!ON MY DESK:I never know what to do with my charging cord that sits on my desk. My computer screens sit near the front edge of my L-shaped desk (I sit at the interior of that L) rather than on a straight rectangular table. My iPhone and iPhone earphones kinda hang out right under my monitors so I decided to use the third remaining clip to support my desk. I put the clip on the upper left-hand edge of my monitor and now I know exactly where to find it and it even stays out of my way until I need it.I use the thicker anker charging cords so my only product-related complaint is that the item does not accommodate a thick cord (I wrap my cords with a protective colored cord wrap) so I had to manually stretch out the wrap right under where I wanted to snapped the product on on the cord. I also did not use the included cord sleeves. And the additional adhesives (3 additional per pack) will come in handy should I move the items to a different location.Awesome product. Wish I could afford to buy more! Haha! :D

Great product, just doesn't hold thicker cables like Thunderbolt 4 or 5
They don't fit my Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 5 cables due to their thickness. Otherwise, they would definitely deserve 5 stars. Very easy to install and do exactly what they're supposed to do. I'm using these to hide cables but still have easy access to them. I have these installed upside down under my monitor stand, and the magnet is strong enough to hold the cable up.

5* because they do what they're supposed to, flawlessly
Amazon tells me I bought these about 18 months ago, but I never got around to writing a review. I should have, they're worth it. I don't give 5 stars easily, but these do exactly what they're supposed to and have worked flawlessly since Day 1. (Literally: I got them and immediately installed them in my car.) I considered these and the ones that come with a "dock" and I'm glad I got these because having the separate bases makes them more versatile.I use them pretty much the same way one of the example pictures shows, to hold my phone cables on my dashboard when they're not in use. I've used them for Lightning cables, USB-C cables, and micro/mini USB cables; anything larger will be too big to fit. For me, the important consideration is that they have held fast through two full Texas summers, with my car parked in the open air. It gets pretty hot here and most adhesive products fails eventually, these haven't yet. I did have the magnet in one of the bases come loose and stay attached to the cable end, but a drop of superglue fixed that and it's been solid ever since. The magnets are strong enough. My definition of that is that they hold tight going over normal road bumps and such, but they come off if my husband accidentally catches them with his backpack strap. My only complaint is that I wish they were cheaper. (I bought the 3-pack, the singles are way too expensive!) If they cost less, I'd buy more.EDIT, August 2019:Now it's the end of the 4th Texas summer since I installed these, and they are still working perfectly. Never fell off my dashboard, the magnets still hold securely. If you need something like this, these are the ones to get.EDIT, January 2023:Three more Texas summers have come and gone and these things are still going strong. I take back everything I said about them being too expensive because apparently they last forever. Now that all our stuff is wireless, we put the magnets on the straps for our masks to hang up in the car when we’re not wearing them.

So convenient!
This is exactly what my elderly mother needed: a way to keep the charging cord for her Kindle easily accessible and out of the way. Mom loves her Kindle, but that means it needs charging pretty often. I bought extra long cords so they'd reach the outlets, and with this handy little device, the cord can stay plugged in and all she has to do is pluck it off the magnetic holder, then pop it back on when her Kindle is done charging. She had some issues with wedging the cord back into the other type of cord holder we tried, but since this one stays on the cord and just attaches to the base magnetically, there's no more problems. My only complaint is how difficult it was to get the red plastic cover off the adhesive back. It turned out that the first one I took out didn't have a little slit in the middle of the cover, like the second one did, that made it easy to remove.

Not compatible with Anker braided cables or other thicker cables
Wish there was a version that accommodated thicker cables. Bought these for multiple cords and the clip covers won't seal shut over the majority of my cables.
