Better than MagnaTiles
We LOVE these! They feel so sturdy and fit together very well. We had a MagnaTiles set first and got these to add on and they work great together. The Picasso Tiles feel a bit sturdier than the MagnaTiles and the magnets are just slightly stronger. It is true that the taller you build, the less stable structures will be, but that's a product of the weight of the tiles, not the quality of the magnets. It takes a bit of practice to be able to get them going the way you want, but once you figure it out, it's not hard. You might just have to borrow a third hand now and then to help steady the blocks until you get the magnets connected. Really fun to watch the problem solving and creativity that these generate! Also I have read some reviews of people being disappointed that the structures fall apart when you pick them up. Small things like a little cube are fine, but yes they will fall apart of you try to carry them around. They're not really meant to be played with like that so that's not a problem for us. You can move them around very carefully and the truck wheels are nice and smooth for rolling whatever vehicle you build. Just don't expect to be able to fly a rocket ship around the room - that would definitely collapse. Have fun, these are great!! We will be buying more!

Great and compatible with magnatiles
My kids LOVE these - doesn't matter the age, they are fun. These specifically are good quality and strong magnets. They work directly with magnatiles for a much better price.Being a cool stem kind of toy it is a great gift for any family without being "just another toy"

Great for 12-18 month old!
My daughter's daycare has these and she has been playing with them since she could sit up on her own. We finally bought her her own set at 18 months and she still LOVES playing with them. She is still a little too young to really build anything with them, but she loves that they're magnetic and stick together. She likes to stack the square pieces and also likes to play with them on the fridge. Her dad and I also have fun playing with them lol.We recently gifted a set to our nephew for his first birthday and have heard great reviews from them as well!

Better than competitors
I have 2 brands of tiles and I found that the Picasso Tiles have a stronger magnetic than their pricey competitor. I will continue to use Picasso Tiles because they have a large variety with different tile configurations (ball run to leg style blocks). These keep kids busy and will continue to challenge them as they grow to expand their imagination.

Lots of open ended play
I will start by saying that we love these in our house. They really are fun for all ages. I got these for my son when he was 18 months old, he’s now 2 and watching him develop the skills and how to interacts with these has been so fun. My husband and I love to build with these too.The biggest flaw is the magnets are not that strong. You can build some structures, but a lot of them, even some of the ones suggested in the book provided, can’t actually be accomplished with these because the tiles aren’t strong enough. We also got a second set to build larger or multi structures, and the two sets are not fully compatible. One was the prism set while the other was the pastel set, I believe and they are ever so slightly different sizes, which can make the structures unbalanced. However if you’re on a budget like we are, these are worth it because of the amount of play you get out of them, even if the magnets aren’t as strong as other brands. Definitely recommend.

Comparable to Magnatiles Brand but cheaper!
We love these so much! My 8Yo still enjoyed them daily!! They are great for kids and adults too. They’re comparable to magnatiles and work with that brand as well. We have bought multiple sets of this brand and they’ve been great

Great gift for kids
These are a hit for our family. Kids ages 1-8 pull them out and play. We purchased 3 sets to allow for big items or multiple kids (2-7) playing Strong magnets and very versatile.
