Good product, can be added more additional products for sale
Good product. I made my own stowe. It would be gr to offer ez fire stand like on other picture.Gulas recipe (10 liters)Up to 5 lbs of beef4-5 lbs onionoil1, Into heated oil add 1 tablespoon (TS) of salt and sliced onion. First fry the onion about halfway without a lid and then cover with a lid. The state does not evaporate and remains in the goulash. The onion is boiled and made a stew density. When the onion is drowned in its own liquid, throw in into the pot:2, Add to pot:1 TS McCormick Dark Chili Powder1 TS Hickory smoked powder1 TS smoked paprika (or 1 more TS spices above)At the end of the handle of the spoon of Mace (nutmeg)Add: few bay leaves, 5 cloves, 10 whole peper, 10 allspice3, Stir it and hand in the meat. Stir often and keep under cover. When the meat is solid, add water to the full pot then cook till meat is cooked.4, 2 large potatoes cut into small pieces either toss with water into the pot or precook in a extra pot and throw the potatoes into the pot with water. Potatos disapear and will make density of goulash. If you like potatos in it just put 2 more sliced to larger pieces after meat is soft.5, when the meat is soft to throw a pair of steamed sliced peppers. Cook for a few minutes and eat with bread

2 years later....
I intentionally waited almost 2 years to do this review and after over probably 300 uses, this is an investment of a lifetime. Personally, the lid alone is worth the cost.. this has become an invaluable tool that I am so glad I bought. This thing is thick, old school cast iron at its best. If you take care of it properly, your super great grandkids will wonder how you cooked dinosaur meat in that thing way back then. Buy it.

Great dutch oven
This is my first dutch oven. My internet research found that a lot of people seem to have either Lodge or Camp Chef cast-iron on all the camping forums. I picked this one because I like the lid that doubles as a griddle and also because the price was better than Lodge. I do like that Lodge is made in the U.S., but I wish they were more competitively priced. A 12 quart lodge dutch oven was double the cost of this one. And as I said, I like the legs on the Camp Chef lid.I was afraid that 12 quarts might be too big, but the lid actually accounts for about 3 of those quarts, so the pot is only about 9 quarts which is a perfect size for me. It was pre-seasoned and the first thing I made was a cobbler. Clean up was easy. After cleaning I heated it on my grill to dry it and then rubbed some more oil all over it. A few days later I wanted to test how well the lid worked as a griddle. The legs on the lid let me sit it right on the coals and I made some bacon and eggs. I cooked the bacon first and the lid held a whole pound of it. After that I drained the bacon grease and fried a half dozen eggs and there was no trouble with sticking. Again, clean up was a breeze. While still warm I wiped it out with some water and a small scrub brush. Re-oiled it and it's ready for my next meal.

Very good quality and perfect size.
This thing works great. Very heavy duty material and will last a lifetime. Worked especially well on my camp chef 16" 3 burner, and with my camp chef dutch oven dome cover. Had a brain waive using it for the first time and used it as a smoker and turned out some amazing smoked baked beans. I took the lid of the camp chef dutch oven, and placed on the camp chef stove as a pan. I then put a few small apple wood chunks (not touching each other) down on the pan. Put the dutch oven on top, covered with the oven dome and voila! A perfect little smoker. I'll be using this for a long time and I can tell you some of the people camping with us this weekend are going to go out and buy this. I fed 20 hungry people with this size, and a few people came back for thirds. 5 stars!

Oustanding!
This is the first Dutch Oven I have ever purchased and after a long search I decided on this one. I liked the features of the legs on the lid which allows you to use it as a skillet by itself and it had just the right capacity for my hungry brood. Although not mentioned in any reviews I could find or in the specifications, it also has a notch in the lid and lip of the pot for your typical thermometer probe. I waited until it arrived to confirm this before I acquired a digital thermometer to help me monitor the internal temperature of the oven. There are many good sites on-line that discuss how to control the temperature but I felt that being new to this method of cooking a thermometer would help until I get used to it. The pot is well built, pre-seasoned and ready to go right out of the box. It was also an excellent price compared to other brands I looked at. For my first dish I made an Apple Crisp in it that was delicious and very well received. All in all this is an excellent compliment to by custom campfire spit cooking equipment and I look forward to creating many more wonderful recipes in it for years to come.
